This is my dog Dusty. She is a golden retriever/cocker spaniel/chow mix. Ever seen a black tongue on a golden retriever?

"The sun and moon, each 32 miles in diameter, rotate at a height of 3000 miles above sea level."
Am I reading that correctly?
"This is unknown. Some believe it to be just rocks, while others believe the Earth rests on the back of four elephants and a turtle. "

everyone can arm chair quarterback the situation. I didn't see the officer jump on the hood of the car, I just saw the tape go to him on the hood of the car so maybe I missed that part of the video? But a car is a deadly weapon, so I'm assuming the driver tried to run the cop over (because the car was moving when the officer was on the hood) and thats how he got on the hood of the car and then used deadly force. Its a terrible situation, but they have to assume the worst. How often are police officers shot unsuspectingly when they pull someone over for a speeding ticket, missed stop sign, etc. There was an officer on the r6 forum that was shot in the arm (the bullet bounced around from someone who he pulled over for a tint violation.
http://www.r6-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89991&highlight=officer+shot&page=37
Also, the first officer radioed that the suspect tried to ram his car (use of deadly force right there). So we don't know if the officer who was on the hood was the same as the original officer, but if he's not you can assume he's only going by what he heard on the radio. So in his mind he thinks this suspect is going to try and do harm to the police officers with his vehicle again given the chance.
One thing I know is that if I plan on "running" from the police, I have to assume that I'm going to face the possibility of getting tazed, killed in a car accident, or shot by the police. If you think otherwise, you're just as naive as the guy in that car.
Well thought out.

That was painful to watch. but oh so funny. Yeah, all these slaves made in china here...

You can't please all the people all the time.

At least 7 shots to the driver, seems a little extreme to me. At that range they could have shot out the tires. But here's an idea..cops with lights and sirens are chasing you. What do you do A:run and risk killing yourself, someone else or getting killed, or at a minumum get bigger fines/jailtime. B: Stop your car and take your lumps. I don't know all the specifices (why he ran, what he was doing, what the cops had thought), but if you run, the cops will assume the worst, not know why he's running, and probably do everything they feel necessary at the time (remember human error here) to nuetralize the enemy.
Edit: and yeah jumping on the hood seems a lot like playing russian roulette to me.

Nice opening paragragh- YOU WILL DIE!!

I want one, or seven...sweet.

That gravity and hill thing confuses the hell out of me too! It's like magic sometimes, the way it snatches things away and sends them on their merry way....
Man, that it one lucky baby, and mom. what are the chances of the stroller landing in such a way that the baby survived?

Of course, I also disapprove of the flag shirts country singers love to wear, or the made-in-China flags people stick on everything. And the Texan habit of displaying the state flag more prominently (and often) than the national flag. And any display of the confederate flag (advertising support for an act of treason makes you an asshole). So maybe I'm just kind of old-fashioned when it comes to my country's symbols.
.
I like that. I'll have to remember it.

Well, I have a feeling already that I can do much better than I am now, and that I've been an idiot all along and SHOULD be much better off than I am now. I do plan to continue to pursue as much information as my time will allow after the classes.
You'll have to let me know what you think about it if ya get back into using it.
Yup. You can play with it at work if you want. THE PROGRAM, GEESH.

I cannot believe I am actually seeing this. No one's face should be there on the American Flag. Especially not this numnut.

Buy your Obama flag today
How do you top a Nobel Peace Prize?
With your own national flag.
Yes, the Obama flag is available on eBay for only $4.99.
Someone in Kokomo, Indiana, has already displayed it.
Some people are upset.
Pamela Geller wrote: “Even the most broken brained Democrat in America must be repulsed by such a visual. There is something terribly terribly wrong with this. It’s an Obamanation. Skin crawling.”
I say make a buck off Obama’s stooges. The guy peddling this paraphernalia is an entrepreneur. Give the man a break. He knows the market. He sells U.S. Marine flags as well.
Just don’t fly the Obamanation flag at the Oaks Apartments at 1440 Geary Circle S.E., in Albany, Oregon.
Even showing a flag decal on a car could get you evicted. My previous post

When it gets REALLY cold...
1. I only see BMWs
2. I actually have to use the choke
3. I actually start using Winter gloves and boots
4. I start wearing 5 or 6 layers
5. I'll start using the baklava or a scarf or both
6. I think about switching to a full face helmet (got three new ones)
7. I start going around puddles and wet spots, they might be frozen
8. Ice forms on the inside of the face shield when I breath
9. I put hands on the engine at every stop
10. The tires and suspension never warm up no matter how far I go
I'm only at between 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 of 10 items so far. Not so cold yet.
Yep, broke out the gator neck and been putting my hands, mainly just left one, on the engine.

This country is too large for the government to implement a confiscation of weapons. That' date=' and the giant pile of unregistered guns in the various states that don't require registration would make it almost impossible to enforce. And the Constitution is, in fact, just a piece of paper. If someone in Washington got on CNN tonight and said that the 2nd amendment was no longer valid I would not change the way I live my life. I would not turn in a single weapon and would, most certainly, shoot anyone that came to my house to collect them.
So, the Constitution is just a piece of paper and it doesn't guarantee my freedom. It merely states that I have those freedoms and am not to be deprived of them.
