  1. Yeah like SWing'R said, I also run my high beam during the day and dusk. I also put 2 more bulbs in my rear pods so now I have 3 tail/brakes lights instead of just one-makes a difference. Next up is the brake light modulator and possibly converting my front turn signals to daytime running lights. Cages are crazy. Ive been lucky so far and havent had any extreme close calls.

  2. And there's a lot of new people since that thread...Mostly why I didn't bother to post up the repost. I thought it was a valid thread again...

JRMiiiiii is our resident smartass though, so I expected it from him :)

Im still relatively new on OR, learning about everyone, so thanks for the heads-up on JRMiiiiii.:D

  3. Registration is 9-11. We are prob gonna head out of Johnstown at 830 or 9. Havent set it yet. When I get the time down, Ill let you know tomorrow. Well prob meet you and djisle in Johnstown, make it easy to get together. I actually hope you do go, Id like to c the new 250's.

  4. Hi, my name is Erick. I just wanted to say I am a newb at this and I have met some of you already at bike night. Thanks to Bret I was able to get my 09 Kawasaki ninja 250. I am from New Albany and look forward to riding with everyone.

How do you like your 09 Ninja? Ridden it much yet?

  5. I'm no expert yet but I took the MSF with those Honda 250 Rebels.....didn t feel spunky enough.

My 1st ride was a 98 GS500E... spent about 2 months on it before I got my Ducati 748..

I admit it was a quick ascent and it seems i'm fixated on 250CC jumps 0 to 250 to 500 to 750 (748 really but eh...)

Thing is, I know I'm no expert and i don t try to do stupid things, especially not in traffic.... This summer I'm planning a track not because I wanna go fast but because I wanna learn MY limits on MY bike in a "safe" haven.

+1 for being smart and safe.
