  1. I hear tons of shit about battleaxes? or something...

I'm not one to ask, I just buy whatever is cheap and OEM, but I'm slow and wide

Yeah battleaxe BT45. Had them on my ninja and loved them.

High performance and long life from dual-tread construction

Silica compound improves grip characteristics - wet or dry

Dual Tread Compound (DTC) in the rear allows for longer mileage and stability from center, while edges offer grip and performance while cornering

Large crown radius for a large, stable contact patch

Innovative singular sidewall improves shock absorption and neutralizes handling

EDIT: I bought mine at Iron Pony

  2. My wife was trying to sell a ring on craigslist, she had asked for 450 and some guy said he send 700 to buy it for his daughter. He wanted to use paypal, and had the "money"deposited into our paypal. Well it turns out it was all a scam. Paypal contacted my wife about it and said the FBI was investigating it. Be careful. Face to face, cash deals. They are the safest.

  3. As soon as you find a way to sign your life away, cuz I'll need it if you drop my bike. If the previously mentioned person wasn't a really good friend I woulda killed em

Pictures aren't the best, I was losing daylight and the camera sucks. I'll try the chrome polish, I've always just waxed them

i meanto use it on the reflective part of the mirror, not the housing....

  4. I hope I can talk them into letting me use my own bike for the MSF course (500cc limit). What do you guys think?

If I remember the only way you can use your own bike if it has been modified because of a disability. If you can ride a regular bike (left clutch, right throttle and front brake blah blah blah) then you have to use their bikes. And like said earlier, if you drop theirs, no biggie.

    BTW :welcome:

  5. That's bad ass! I can't wait to start riding so I can do these kinds of rides! Awesome!! Thanks for posting the link!

You don't have to have a bike. They have people in cages and people that just walk. You don't even have to be a veteran. The only requirement is you support our troops.

I just joined myself. I figured since I'm out of the service, this would be a good way to support them.

Here's a good video about the Patriot Guard Riders, hope you don't mind me posting this Moose.

Edit: I know its over 5mins long, but take the time out to watch it anyways.
