  1. Threads about certain people that aren't supporters. To find out if it's you, you need to become a supporter.
  2. I'm at a loss of words to explain the amount of awesome this thread contains!
  3. Yeah, I think he likes being tbut's little spoon. I know people that do that, must not be so rare.
  4. You could always get one of these: They're even in Ohio! http://www.columbuswashboard.com/index.html
  5. I've heard Dayco has it all. I usually search it out online. The oven control I needed last fall, I ended up finding dirt cheap on ebay. Around $200 everywhere I could find new, a reman was about $125, finally found what was supposed to be a new one (looked like it had been hooked up, no wear indications though) on ebay for I think $30. Just shop around is all I can say, but if you need it asap, hit up Dayco, or I've heard the Sears place is good, too, but you pay a premium to get it right now.
  6. I kept getting calls, too. Then I paid up all the bills, and still getting calls. Finally answered (and there was someone actually there on the other end) yesterday, and it was Time Warner trying to upsell me to add their TV service. No thanks. You suck for TV in my area. /rant /ot
  7. The method of patch or plug IS very important. I used a Tech brand plug, which uses a chemical vulcanizing process to basically melt the plug into the rubber of the tire. The sticky plugs that you can get at the parts store are just a temporary, "get me home" fix, and can usually be pushed out. The Tech stuff, if done properly, cannot be removed.
  8. Well, I'll tell you to replace it. Especially being on a supersport bike, unless you just cruise around on, and then I'd still say replace it. Personally, I plugged the front tire on my VF500. It was a brand new tire when I got the bike (literally had zero miles on it, all the original compound and casting flash on it) and had a hole from being rolled around in the shed from where I bought it. The first year I rode it, it would lose about a pound or 2 of air after a month or so. After sitting outside this winter, it was still right where I had set it last fall. I'm not at the skill level to push the bike all that hard, so I'm not uncomfortable with it. I could swap the tire out from the Ninja, since it's the same size.
  9. I should clarify my Cali statement. I liked visiting there, but I could never live there. A week at a time is about all I could take!
  10. Yeah, I didn't see much at Gander, either. I didn't get much time to look when I was there, though. It was convenient for me to run to Buckeye Friday, since I was in Newark doing stuff for the kid. We had a couple hours to spare, so we went to Buckeye, then to Chipotle for a burrito! I like to go out there just to look around, too.
  11. Blame it on Chevysoldier! Cali<all else.
  12. Yeah, I know that, I was referring to the other one. If after tax or shipping it's much of a difference, I will buy online. I buy pretty much everything else online!
  13. How reliable is reman ammo? I can't imagine being any different than hand reloads. Really, as long as someone local has it @ $14 a box, I'll buy local.
  14. That's what I keep saying! I'm getting used to the controller, and after a couple of months I'm not doing too bad, but I'm far from being good at the game! I've prestiged once, but just because I've played quite a bit!
  15. I think I heard somewhere that flounder thinks walther is a d-bag. Maybe I heard wrong?
  16. Buckeye Outdoors/Vance's has Blazer brass .40 S&W in 165 or 180 gr. for $13.99/50 right now. That's 28 cents a round, which is about the best price I've seen from looking around. There are places online that you can get it for about the same price, but usually in larger quantities. I just bought 4 boxes the other day, and I can see me going back for more. They usually have a couple brands for that price, too.
  17. It just means that I appreciate the site, evidently more than any of the others that I've been on before? I think it makes a big difference when the guy that started it all is such an active participant, and when there are so many get togethers, I feel more like I know where my financial support is going, compared to someone just saying where it's going. I love the fact that you've kept the site ad free, but I also wouldn't be offended if you went to a pay to remove ads setup, but that may be just because I already have no problem with paying a few bux the way it is.
  18. A few sites that I visit occasionally use ads, with an option to remove them by becoming a supporter. This is the only site that I have paid up to support though. Personally, I think the $10 to become a supporter is very worth it to me for the amount of posting and reading I do on here. I think that everyone that posts regularly on here should consider it. I'd so it even without the cool "supporter" logo below my name!
  19. Good luck! I hope to get to ride with you sometime before that, I hear you're a pretty good guy!
  20. That XDM9 3.8 is sweet! I almost got the XDM 40 3.8 instead of the XD 40sc. I've been looking into the Mossberg Tactical Plinkster .22lr or a Ruger 10-22 I plan to get something in the next couple of months.
  21. Both of these methods have worked for me. My 250's not heavy enough to trigger the lights.
  22. I didn't notice enough of a difference when I got my XD. The M&P is a great firearm as well, you can't go wrong with either of them! It's looking nice outside today, go shoot!
