  1. I thought he was still blocking me? Maybe he is and cant see this. How's it going %÷£×&$%@ $€×^$$ !/$#%

That probably went away when Casper Fu... I mean upgraded the site.

Speaking of zombie threads, I haven't seen the Peni thread lately...

  2. My Honda 919 manual says it doesn't charge below 3000rpm. That one time I left the key on, I ran in a lower gear at 4000rpm and higher to charge it back up. After the bump start. Bump starts work much better if you can get to a downhill slope. With the fuelie it seems like the speed has to be higher than back-in-the-day, to get it done. Might also take a few seconds to get current flowing to activate the fuel injection pump first.

Ha!  I remember that!  It was in Lancaster, IIRC.

  3. I never owned ohioriders.com. Mags is correct. I have ohio-riders.com. I have that because the first batch of stickers looked like they said ohio-riders.com so I registered it. I had it as the main URL for a while but the majority preferred it without the dash. I've tried buying it several times through the years, but no way it's worth anywhere near that much. $50 maybe, but more like $10.99.

And ohio-riders.com doesn't even bring you here anymore.  First ipboard, now this.  What else are you going to ruin for us ghostly one? (Said in my best Tonik voice, even though I have no idea what that sounds like!)

I really don't care what the URL is as long as I can still get here!

  4. Is it too much to ask for drivers not to pull on the opposite side of the pump from me with their window down and a cigarette while i'm in the middle of pumping gas?

Yes it is.  It's ALL about them, not you.  You are nothing.

This sort of stuff frustrates me, too.

  5. All of my ratchets that I use on a daily basis are snap-on.  If my old Snap-On dealer was still with Snap-On, I'd give you his number, he lives right in Freddy-town.  He got out of it over 5 years ago.

If you were closer, I'd have you drop it off to me, and I'd get it taken care of through my current dealer.

  6. Never done corn. I like that idea!

I've read that anywhere from 2-4 hours for it.  I did mine right around 2 hours, around 200-225 range (I didn't watch too close, I was just doing pork chops, I wanted to keep the temp on the low side.)  Being a fast smoke, I knew I'd need a stronger wood, so I used hickory.

  7. So, I decided to do smoked pork chops tonight, and decided to just cook the corn on the cob in the smoker at the same time.  THAT was an EXCELLENT idea!  The pork chops were a little dry, I think I left them in there a little too long.  Next time I will get a thicker cut, for sure.

For the chops, I just salted them kinda' heavily, then tossed them in.  I like them that way, but next time I may make a rub.

The corn, I left in the husk, soaked them for a few minutes in water, just put them in the smoker that way.  They were in for a couple hours.  Took it out, peeled the husk and buttered.  There was just a light smoke flavor to it, just enough to set it off!

  8. And all of you local Ohio riders if you are on Facebook please feel free to add me. My name is Zachery Giesey. It would be a great help if you can pass this info along on Facebook with me. Thanks again for your time.

Your Facebook page is locked down to not accept friend requests.

    RIP rider.  ATGATT.  :(

  9. Wait a minute.....and the earth is traveling 66000mph around the sun WHILE "spinning" at around 1000mph. If you're on the moon the earths spin should still be blurry as frak.

Diameter...  Think about it a while.  They're talking about MPH at the surface, not revolutions per amount of time.  The MPH isn't really a "valid" measurement for the non-scientific, IMHO.

  10. Just do it, show them once, they will ask the next time, and they WILL get it, or they don't get to watch!

I'm in the middle of figuring out the same exact thing right now.  I'm pretty close to deciding on a Raspberry Pi to run Kodi (XBMC) that all the Android boxes run, and to connect to a plex server for some content that I have access to there.  Find someone that has a decent library running on a plex server, and you'll be set!

  11.

Thanks!  That worked!  All is good in the hood!  I got the minor touchpad issue taken care of by installing an older version of that as well.  It's looking like the old laptop is well...OLD!  LOL  It came with Vista on it, as it was before 7 was even in CTP.

  12. Pro Tip:  Do not do a brake job on your car when you are pissed.  I'm too embarrassed to admit what I did.  I've done a dozen break jobs since I was a kid and have never done anything so stupid.  Thankfully I took a test drive in my neighborhood and caught it before I hurt anything other than my pride.

Someone put a pad on backwards, or didn't tighten a bolt!  I'm pretty meticulous when I do brake jobs, clean the rust under the the abutment clips, do things in a specific order to avoid forgetting to do something, etc...  It IS part of my job after all!

  13. Just upgraded my work computer as I get to play test mule and make sure everything works. Went really well, all of our software works fine and just had to download a few drivers.

Find me a video driver for the ATI X1250 integrated chipset for Windows 10!  That's all I need to have all of my computers upgraded and working properly.

(Hint:  it doesn't exist, just looking for a workaround!)

  14. I clicked the icon and it said I was put on a waiting list...Maybe they're rolling it out by region? Wouldn't let me download right away

I signed up a day or 2 before release on my desktop, didn't get it until a few days after.  Signed up on release day with a laptop and got it the very next day.  I think it's kinda random.

Motocat, I was under the impression this was only if you have a Windows account tied to it... If you don't log in with a Windows account then there shouldn't issues... Is that not correct?

I don't think so.  But you can opt out of a lot of it during the setup, first run part.

  15. I did the desk top Iam on now 3 days ago It was running win 7 easiest upgrade I have ever done and the pc is running a lot faster. But is there a way to get rid of the boot up password since I am the only one that uses this desktop?

Click the Start button, right click your user name, change account settings, then it will be under sign in options.  If you have it associated with a microsoft account, you're stuck with entering a password, at least as far as I've seen.

  16. It failed on me twice, then just told it to upgrade.  THAT failed on the first try, the second was fine, and I'm now running Windows 10 on my desktop, and the wife's laptop.

So, the Get Windows 10 app says that the X1200 video adapter in my laptop will not work properly.  I've been reading that several people have been using it with the preview version with no problems.  I downloaded the image to a USB drive, as some of them have been suggesting, and reporting that it works) and I'm going to give it a whirl!
