  1. All these import lovers will hate on this idea. Chrysler 300m, Concord, or Intrepid. You want the 3.2 or 3.5 though, unless you can verify that the engine is clean on the inside for a 2.7. With good tires, they're TANKS in the winter, and they're usually pretty cheap these days, for the 98-04 generation.

As I said in a previous post, it's more important to find one that works for you, where you live and where you go that you NEED it to work, then price second. Fortunately for me, Sprint works fine, and the price is better. I have thought about switching to Virgin or boost, but I have this contract thing looming over me, and I like to have cool new phones, so I get locked into contracts for longer.
  3. She has stuff to do today, and I haven't been out on the bike for a while. This could be the last decently warm day to ride, so I'm being stingy. Sounds good! I'll be there early, just in case!

But, it seems everyone hates the Sprint network.
  5. Give me a time and I'll be at the Sunoco! I have to fill the tank anyway!
  6. I think I will be taking 310 (to 204 to 158) or 37 down to Baltimore/256 and picking up 664 to get there. Pataskal or Granville would be good places to meet up for me, or I could ride west to meet up.
  7. I think I'll be there, if I can find it! Is anyone meeting up anywhere to ride down? I will be on 2, east of Columbus.
  8. Ah, that sounds right! Yeah, they're all under the same company now, anyway!
  9. I'm pretty happy with my HJC IS-16. It has a large chin curtain that helps keep down on wind noise, it fits well, anti-fog shield works well, integrated sunshield, as well. I can only think of 2 things I don't like about it. 1. the integrated sunshield is not anti-fog. 2. one of the pads in it keeps coming unsnapped. I paid right atround $200 for it at the Pony, which seems to be MSRP, which is typical for anything that's not a closeout up there.

  11. There's a member here (he's actually in NC) with a F4i that's over 200K, something like 202,000 now!
  12. eMachines=Acer=Gateway. I think Gateway bought them both.
  13. I WAS using Antec Earthwatt power supplies, the older one's that were made by Seasonic (I think) until one died on me recently. I'm not thinking that I'll br getting another, unless I find out that they're improved. I do like the 80 Plus part, not only more efficient, but they need less airflow, which makes them quieter!
  14. There's a thread for that! Someone else here had that problem, I think they ended up formatting the drive and re-installing Windoze, but it IS fixable, if you have the time/patience. They are getting a little closer in price now that they're basically PC's with Mac OS on them! I'd still like to try one on for a while, but I have my doubts that I would ever change over completely.
  15. Good point Street. That's pretty much all that's left to replace! Microcenter usually has some good deals on motherboard CPU combos. I would probably go a bit more than the cheapest they have, but for under $200 you could have something that kicks! They have a 500 GB hard drive for $39, which wouldn't be a bad idea to replace, and under $50 for a power supply.
  16. It must be worth it, or you wouldn't pay it!
  17. I wish I could tell you that it becomes easy to deal with. I lost my mom about 13 years ago, and there are still times that I just break down in tears. There were some other things I was going to say, but it's all cliche' and stuff that I'm sure others have said. Instead, I'll just say another prayer for comfort for you and your family.
  18. You need to pickup another VF1000 then! We do have a member with the name 1000rrrider, aka MidgetTodd!
