  1. Same as the clowns above. Although I ride most days anyway.

The majority of them I've seen tend to wave, especially if I wave first. I'd say about 80% + return the wave. Here we go, another waving thread...
  3. Nobody here breaks the speed limit. http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=60654&highlight=speed Except Justin... He fought the law and the law won. Seriously though, I've always heard to go to court and plea bargain with them for a no-points violation. I can honestly say that I haven't had ticket in probably 12 year (now I'm jinxed for sure...)
  4. I don't think I've ever seen a spin balancer that spins fast enough for them to work. Also, the tire hitting the road has more to so with it than a spin balancer can simulate.
  5. Nice, now I need to go get a cookie... or cake... or pie... or ice cream... We have them all here right now. Thanks again for making me have to decide what I want.
  6. I just hope you didn't take the comments wrong. I really don't think anyone was trying to make you look like a shitball (had to use that one!) but to let you know that we all make mistakes, and ride over our heads for the conditions presented once in a while. It's unfortunate that you ended up going down as a result, but it sounds like you're going to use it as a learning experience, and become a better rider for it. I hope that how straight forward everyone is doesn't run you off!
  7. I probably had one of the shorter rides of all at right about 150 miles. Let me tell ya, the ride was NOTHING compared to meeting Brian, and even more, seeing him ride his bike! Words cannot explain how awesome that was! It has been a couple months short of a year that his life took a drastic turn, and he fought back, and reponded with this! Truly AMAZING!
  8. Yeah, it contains the first post that I ever made on OR. I was doing a search to call out the poster in flat-fishes "ride rulez" thread, to prove that there was no intro thread. Why did The Matrix line: "There is no spoon." just now pop into my head? Ya know, I was thinking the same about you Mosseknuckle! We went back to bug you before leaving for the CSBA/Brian Kinney ride this morning, and you were no where to be found. I thing you were avoiding us. I now haz a sad... Just kidding dood, I'm glad to see you're working hard, and liking what you do!
  9. Yeah, it was. Would've been more fun if I could've kept up! That little 250 was giving me all it had!
  10. My joinup date, and first post are from before his joinup date. I call on the troll.
  11. I'm saying that the time that tire is turning slow enough that the beads don't work is slower than a minor out of balance will effect anything, when considering wear or safety. The tire would have to be total crap to be out of balance enough to matter at that low of a speed.
  12. Wow! Seeing Brian ride that bike around the parking lot at the Pony was awesome! AND, he didn't just idle it around, either! The ride was good, too. Nobody went down, as long as eneryone made it back to Columbus on the slab...
  13. I get what you're saying. I'm just thinking about what I would do, and how many times I would like to have something with some more room to carry stuff, even though I don't travel on the bike, either. I had to take the car to the grocery store the other night, because the few things I needed wouldn't fit in the tail bag I have. In hindsight, maybe I should have taken the bike, that would've made me not buy as much, since I wouldn't be able to bring it all home, thereby saving money!
  14. After all te stuff you've sold, and talked about being $1500 in the better on all the bike swapping that you've done, you can't afford any of this? Seriously though, I don't think you'll EVER find a deal this good on those hard bags, and when you consider that they already match your bike, that's the deal of the century! It is a shame you can't swing picking up this stuff!
  15. Yup! Noticed it the first time I saw this thread. I bugged the crap out of me, but not as much as people bashing something they don't know anythign about.
  16. Oh WOW! I'm excited! What time are you getting to the Pony? I'm excited to see this! What an awesome accomplishment! Edit: Nevermind, I went back to look at the OP, 10:30 meet up time, out riding by noon.
  17. Why do I get the feeling that things are going to be different around here from now on?
  18. Looks beat to shit to me...
  19. That's what happens when crap gets in your tires. Water=crap as well, when it comes to tires. I can't tell you how many car tires I've removed to find the wheels corroded BADLY around the bead. A lot of this moisture comes from the INSIDE, from compressed air that's not been run through a drier.
  20. I'm not trying to sell anybody on dynabeads, it has been proven that they do. Until you show me some evidence that they don't work, or better yet that they cause a problem, with all due respect!
  21. If your tire is bad enough that 25-35 is too rough without being static balanced, I'd be getting a new one before putting another mile on it!
  22. I guess I'm usually concentrating on what I'm doing to notice!
  23. Dynabeads is not the only brand out there! The brand we have at the shop is specifically for cars and trucks. I think the beads might larger diameter. Cost. Why put 3 or 4 ounces of beads in a tire, when they can balance them conventionally and use 1.5 ounces of cheaper lead. From working on cars, and mounting and balancing tires is part of that, I can tell you that it is RARE that you'll need the same weight on new tires. That little thing discredits the whole post. If someone is that delusional, I have no reason to listen to them. The cheapest stuff on the shelf at Walmart.
