  1. Isn't there a Shell at the corner of Dempsey? I've been past it a bunch of times, since I usually go down Dempsey to get there, but don't remember.
  2. ^^^ This is what's wrong with gaming on the 360.
  3. Ah, I had missed that. I don't need a fuel stop, I can make it on one tank, I'm sure. I'll be packing some water in my roll bag, and maybe something to eat as well, depending on what I decide in the morning. I'm still not 100% going to make it, but it's very likely.
  4. Gee, I wonder where THAT idea came from? I know someone that has a nice setup that is serving no real purpose right now...
  5. There are a few stations pretty close to the Pony. This should not be an issue, unless people just want to make things difficult. Weather is looking good so far, other than the heat and humidity. Bringing water will not be a bad idea! Are there going to be any stops along the way for fuel, food, or even just a snack?

    Harley Rant

We profile around here. Sort fo like people that have been signed up for a long time, with very few posts and little activity. I'm not trying to chase anybody off, I just think that people need to be active, and get an idea of what most around here think of certain things. We don't dislike Hardleys, just the majority of people that ride them that aren't real riders, and they only pu hundreds of miles on them, compared to thousands for most around here. This is Ohio. I thought the left lane was the slow lane!
  7. I think black tod just said we're doing it wrong...
  8. He has deviled eggs in his fridge at work... Need I say more?
  9. This accounts for about 90% of the posts on OR.
  10. Maybe they think he looks like he needs to eat more? Or maybe you actually sharted on the way home and didn't notice the warm squishy feeling?
  11. This... Other than the kid beatings. When you start selling the drugs, I may know of some people you can seel them to out your way. Fixed, and I know of someone that "borrowed" some valve cores years ago, and it wasn't any of us!
  12. Ponytails aren't trendy anymore? Damn, nobody told me. Now I haz a sad... I had forgotten about that. Beta was the better tech, and it didn't survive. For the young'uns, this was like the HD-DVD and BlueRay battle. I still think HD should have won.
  13. I think you've missed it. Nobody knows JM's personality, how to take his (her?) post, etc... so the knee-jerk reaction is all you get. Get to know the group a bit, hang out in person, go on a group ride, and you will find that most around here are very safe and as long as you have a little skill, and are smart enough to stick to within the reach of your abilities, you will learn a lot from group rides. Nobody (as far as I know) is out to get anyone else (other than me, and they haven't getten me yet!) hurt on group rides.
  14. You just don't fit in around there. Move out ASAP.
  15. Fonzie... and get to the pics... With all due disrespect... Nice example prez... Nice example.
  16. At what speed does all of this become irrelevant? I know that on most CARS, anything above a certain speed you don't feel the inbalance any longer. I would think that a bike tire would have to be pretty far out of balance to be an issue at that high of a speed, and most bike tires I've seen have been pretty close on balance. Before I get slammed here, I'm sure that some are pretty far off, just that I haven't seen any, and I'm not sure I would want to run any that are very far off. What is used at the track?
  17. THAT is interesting. Although, 3M is selling a polymer solution that comes on a roll, as a tape. Pretty cool stuff. There's a "ruler" to tell you how much a length of it will weigh, you cut it off at the mark for the amount you need, sitck it on and go!
  18. Nope, no problems with my Mac software. Windows 7 runs great here. I;ve also dropped this Toshiba laptop a couple times, but I am careful with stuff. Oh yeah, I've had a couple kinds of beer spilled in it as well (real beer, and root beer) without incident, other than a couple keys got a little sticky for a while. Fixed. Apple does have pretty good customer service. See below about trendy... $528 shipped to my door, Toshiba, dual core AMD (I prefer of intel) 17" display, etc... basically mid level a year and a half ago. I have a PC running in my closet, serving email that is over 10 years old at the core (motherboard, cpu, ram.) I actually bought some of the parts off ebay about 4 years ago, and added some old parts I had laying around. Never had an issue! We have a machine running windows 95 at the shop, and win 95 was current when it was new. I have to admit, it was having issues a few months ago, but that turned out to be just a bad CPU fan. Macs are trendy. They have to be on top of their game to keep that market. I don't think I really need to say any more than that.
  19. :nono: You are slacking prez... GLWS!
  20. ^^^This... ANd nice first post after lurking for over a year. If you're such an anti-social rider, we don't have much to offer here. This is a pretty social group.
