Oops, missed the front bumper cover and windshield. Bump it to $4500-5500. I'm curious how far off I am, actually!

I'm gonna doubt they total it. No bags blown, minimal (if any) structural. A front door, rear door skin, or maybe a whole shell, front fender, wheel and tire, and a bunch of small parts, maybe a couple pulls to straighten, if any structural. I'm going to say around $4000-5000.

I have to second the watch ebay comment. Some dealers list them there to get rid of old stock, and you can get a great deal on a NEW, old model year bike.

One thing I don't get. Why don't we get Chrome on the Android phones? The webkit browser is decent (aka... it pulls up OR just fine) I just would've thought Chrome would've been the default. Maybe it's a HTC thing, and chrome is on other phones?

That's only one of them. Someone else I know that's older than you got his first a couple years ago, and he was hit pretty hard, although he fought it and got off a little bit better. He got his second, and the penalties weren't much tougher than the first, if even as bad!

Ya know I find something interesting, not in this situation in particular, just in general. It seems that the courts have gotten tougher on the first time offenders, and not the repeat offenders. I know a couple people that have gotten first offenses recently, and they've had significantly stiffer penalties than I did when I got a DUI about 12 years ago. We went through the whole insurance debacle almost 2 years ago. Not fun. The company that the guy worked for that hit the car wanted to total the car, and would not negotiate. We turned it over to my wife's insurance company (this was before we were married), they fixed it, then collected from the other company, including her deductible! Good luck with getting this worked out!

Ya know, there really are more good people out there than we may think. Look at how many people jumped to help out, and to do the right thing in a time of need. I also think society is pretty well screwed up, but when I read stuff like this, I realize that we just may not be as bad off as I once thought. I'm happy to hear that everyone is ok, of course that's the first, most important concern. Someone was looking out for them!

Ya know, I don't mind riding home in the rain, in fact I kind of like it. I just don't like riding somewhere that I'm going to be staying for a while, and being soaked the whole time. I guess I could just put the liners in my jacket and riding pants, that makes them waterproof. I haven't tested them out much though. No kidding! At least I have a pic of myself riding the bike! Get with it Rosso!
