  1. How about all of them that about run me off the road because they're afraid to get out into their own lane.
  2. What does 4wd Jeep have to do with anything? Not referring to you Tom, but MANY idiots with 4wd vehicles think they're superior. Not the case on the street. I do as well, if not better in my Intrepitank. Except for the return trip from Sam's Club, with the underside bottoming out on the ice that's STILL in the center ot the lanes on the roads out here....
  3. My wife just had to have her car out to go to WORK after the first BIG snowfall (white death v1.0). No demands to get the driveway cleared or anything. Fortunately, as I was getting my car out that evening, our neighbor came by with a skid loader and cleared it all out for us! Shoveling minimized!
  4. I'm not going to complain about it, unless it bogs the site down! I'm sure you'll be pretty quick to know on that one.
  5. Great. The local 10:00 news weather report says 7+.
  6. I'm just totally "numb" to the snow now. I'm just not happy about the kids being out of school, they get crazy being home all day, and not able to be outside too long because of the snow.
  7. Tiled shop floor? And I thought our painted floors were nice....
  8. From what I've read, the money goes to the OSP, not city. Not that's any better for that.... That was the approach I planned on taking when I decide to license my Camaro again, after getting some things fixed.
  9. The 2 fiddy, I couldn't pass up the deal. Craigslist, under $1k, started riding it, and I've put less than $500 more into it to get the fairings back on it. A few months later, was looking on Craigslist again, found the 500, paid $500, put less than a $200 in it, including the gasket set I'm about to order for it. I started riding bikes late (36), because I wasn't ready for it, and would have been less than responsible about it. When I was a kid in the mid to late 80's, my cousin had a couple interceptors, one was a 500, I think the other was a 750. I've always like the looks of them, and the more vertical riding position. The 2 fiddy is a decent riding position for me, but the seat gets uncomfortable pretty quick. This year, I plan to ride the Interceptor everywhere, and the 2 fiddy is for the wife.
  10. Unless it would bring back rep...
  11. There are much larger forums running on vBulletin 3-ish. photography-on-the.net is running 3.6.12 and they have 232,665 members, and about 800k threads! In feb of 2005, the costs of running that site were around $6k a year, according to the founder! I'm basically saying, if it ain't broke, don't fixi t!
  12. Garlic parmesean? Turn in your man card.... Somthing hotter please....
  13. 2002 SHOULD be the new body, more of a midsize than the previous generation. They used the 4.2 inline. They're pretty reliable. We have a few customers with these (Trailblazers, which are the same thing) and don't see much going wrong with them. Tie rod ends, wheel bearing assemblies, a few misc issues that are present across the GM line (evap vent valve, etc...) Transmission is a 4l60E, been around for 20 years prior to that model year, lasts a couple hundred thousand most of the time, engine seems to be really durable. There's not much I can knock on with them, as long as it's in good shape, well maintained, and not been beat to hell.
  14. http://jalopnik.com/5466697/man-builds-mustang-out-of-lamborghini-world-goes-huh Get this, I saw Ohio dealer plates on it...
  15. I'm hoping the same for Howe and Howe Tech....
  16. Ok guys. I'm going to have to find an excuse to get out to Chipotle now..... Thanks a lot for mentioning Chipotle. Low quality, cam version..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXug285fQ7U
  17. Come one man, you're not a newb around here, this is just how OR works these days!
  18. I like Howe & Howe tech much better. We'll see how they are after a couple seasons.
  19. I like it, except for step 1, and the posting part of step 5. Apartment complex. I'm sure his neighbors would LOVE that! Along with the management! Much cheaper than hiring someone to plow it!
  20. Just when I thought we were done with Jcroz..... Let's start with you. One less flaming liberal, all the better for all! Seriously though, read my sig. Not the Pauly quote about rep, the other part....
  21. I gots one of thise sitting in my bay at work waiting for me to pull the engine to fix some rods that are about to come through the block. It's just got street tires on it though.
  22. The county FINALLY plowed the "main" road I have to take to get into town, or anywhere else, for that matter. The road is FAR from clear, but it's at least cleared wide enough for 2 lanes of traffic flow now. The road is still rough, though. My road (township maintenance) is in really good shape! We'll see how it is tomorrow, after it drifts overnight.
