Playing card pushups... Sounds like a butt kicker to me! I think tonight is just going to be a nice brisk walk around the parking lot at Kroger before and one after I pick up a few things.

How would we measure results? We would be at different starting points, for sure, as I am in COUCH mode right now. I'll be doing the couch to 5k thing, I think. EXACTLY where I am. My weight is NOT an issue, at least not by more then 5 or 10 pounds. My problem is that I am WAY out of shape, and my cholesterol is a little bit high, the doctor says I need exercise..... DUH!!! Now tell me something I don't know! My other thing is that I just feel like crap all the time, lethargic, lazy, something like that. I know that exercise will help. I was going to start tonight on the c25k, still might even, but some home "issues" slowed me down a bit, right now. I might just go for a decent, brisk walk.

It would be AWESOME if civvie banks would do the check scanning thing! I was always jealous of Chev when I had to make about an hour round trip just to deposit my paycheck, and he just went home and did it! We now have a bank that I deal with in town, and they also have the scanning ATM's.

I saw a couple run out in the field behind the shop earlier, right after someone took a couple shots. Nice BIG buck, and a doe.

Well, having a bike is the point of the site, yes. At least she has had a bike when she was actively participating. There have been more than a couple groupies and/or wannabees around here, too.

THAT SUX!!! I have a tough time with getting going before 8am! Sounds about like what I should be doing. I may have to copycat!

Sounds about like my Interceptor, although I haven't had the urge, or need to run it up that fast. I'm not that comfortable with the brakes and suspension, so 85 or so is enough for me.

It's still brand recognition. I'm willing to bet that you are in the minority on this, and I'm not saying that's a bad thing, I am also annoyed by the commercials, especially the repetition, but repetition is KING in advertising and marketing! I can't say 100%, but their marketing is aa big part of what made me quote my insurance with them.

Ah, yes. The American Dream. I debt up to your ears, and living from paycheck to paycheck to make the payments. NOT for me anymore!

Bike > cage, except for the winter time, then it's keep the clunker going to get you to riding season again.....

At that rate, I'd put it into something that would MAKE money with it, not a car or bike that will LOSE value. Just my opinion though, and we all know how THOSE are!

WOW! It's a bad idea to invest borrowed money, but at that rate, I don't know that you could turn that much down, when you can pay for the interest by simply putting the money in a savings account, not to mention a decent performing mutual fund....

Typical car repairs for a year, around $1000-1500. Compare that to a car payment. The money you save vs. a car payment and you could have a better car next year with the money you save. Why spend money you don't have, to buy things you don't need, to impress people you don't like?

I'm sure that's not a first for Jagz..... Probably no the last time, either! (I can't argue with him on his comment though)

Cash is KING! Wht borrow money from a financial institution at say 5%, when they' give you MAYBE 2% to deposit money (that they'll use for other loans to other people) into their institution?
