  1. most of 26 was repaved at the end of last year, one of the best roads in the state, woodsfield to marrietta is about fifty miles of good road with little to no traffic
  2. Arming responsible people makes the irresponsible people think twice about committing crime against innocent people, it kinda evens the playing field because criminals will carry even if its illegal. there is no worry about people with a ccw , these people get them for protection not to raise their street credentials. You have a much greater chance of someone with a ccw saving your life in public if a situation would arise than you do someone putting your life in danger with a ccw
  3. I like how on the first post you refer to most ccw people as hillbillys. Hillbillys are not the ones you need to worry about, they only shoot if you come on their land in the middle of the night. Its the thugs and gangsters that will rob and kill you. Its extremely rear that someone would waste the money time and effort to get a ccw just to commit a crime and lose it
  4. Its at the top of the list maybe not number one, we ride the devils triangle, tail of the dragon and the cherahala skyway on the second day, the third day we rode back roads about half the day and made a few stops on the way home. We got to see cumberland falls at night and in the day, we ate at sanders cafe (the original kfc), went on the skylift up to the natural bridge, drive through the nada tunnel, stopped at torrent falls rock climbing park, stopped at deals gap and even stopped at quaker steak in knoxville for some out of state bike night plus rode 1200 miles (600 freeway 600 twisties). Not bad for a three day ride other than getting in last night about midnight when it was 44 and raining, I did not expect the temp to drop that much so I didn't even pack my winter gear the best roads I found were 30 east off of 75 in ky, 90 over to cumberland falls and the three popular roads that most everyone knows
  5. Very nice falls but we did not get to see the moonbow. Just ride the devils triangle may be the best road ever
  6. We didn't leave till almost three, we took 71 to 75 to 25 and did an out and back on 90 to cumberland falls. Perfect weather amd we made it to or destination the good riding is planned for the next two days
  7. Im headed out in a few once my brother wakes up, he worked night shift last night and is throwing a power nap down before we go. Thats the biggest reason were taking the freeway down is the late start were going to get
  8. You say that like cleveland is better? http://www.areaconnect.com/crime/compare.htm?c1=Cleveland&s1=OH&c2=Detroit&s2=MI I guess they have you beat pretty good in the murders but I bet most of that were the people bringing all the other numbers up, so that might be a bad thing
  9. I have disliked cleveland my whole life and don't see that changing anytime soon
  10. looks like were going to take 71 to 75 and go down through the Daniel Boone National forest to cumberland falls on the way down. the second day were going to ride the Devils Triangle and that area. Then on the way home were going to ide up through the Red river George area there seems to be alot to see and do in that area http://byways.org/explore/byways/2482/travel.html here is a cool man made 900 ft deep tunnel in the red river gorge http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR1zzLQpmgY
  11. Another thing bring money. Not sure what parking cost near the stadium maybe some one else can ring in on that as I have a parking pass. Also food is very expensive I suggest stopping off for food before you get there. do not bring any pop or bottles to the stadium they will check at the gate and make you throw them away. They do not serve alcohol on the stadium either if you want a drink the river watch tower is close to the stadium
  12. I usually get there about two and a half hours early that leaves you an hour to park and walk and time to get to your seats and see the band. Remember its always better to be early than late. Coming from the south I would come up 71 to 315 then get off at akerman its a little father walk but you avoid all tragic on the way in and most of it on the way out. If you guys ride bicycles I suggest taking them, there is bike parking being the stadium its way better than walking
  13. I had something like that in mind but in the other direction and go down through daniel boone national forrest
  14. I have taken 77 75 and 23 before, I love 23 just looking for something similar to that where you can make some ground but its not quite freeway. Not looking for tight twistys all the way down , maybe some nice views and rolling 55 mile per hour sweepers. Were not headed to the dragon but over to the devils triangle
  15. Im going to head down to knoxville for a quick three day ride and was just looking for some routes that people take down other than the freeway
  16. Guess I have the wrong bike I would never kick my dual sport over
  17. Yes it has a boost gauge pending your computer reads it it will display it. My car is not turbo so it just reads vacuum
  18. I was told by a few places to go with the plasma for games due to them having a higher refresh rate
  19. They say there are some good bluetooth adapters theat work better than the elm327 but they are 100 bucks, the cheapy works good for me
  20. I have the droid x and the cheap ebay adapter no problems yet I have used it on about ten cars
