  1. Have had no wear issues with mine, I have had this set for about a year
  2. The snake is not far from Johnson City, also very close to Roan Mountain which is a must. The first picture was taken on Roan Mountain. A touring bike is a must, I cant believe I rode 12 years on sport bikes. I did some touring on my R1 for awhile before I got this bike, its taken riding to a whole new level. I have put about 7000 miles on the bike in the last 3 months

  4. I have had them on my last four bike I cant seem to find any that are better and you cant beat the price
  5. I just got back from my second trip this year and think I may have found heaven. Us421 from Bristol Tn to Mountain City may just be the best road ever. Half way down 421 you can stop in Shady Valley its a little bike hang out like deals gap. Once in Shady Valley there are many options all which are top notch roads. We spent four days in the Bristol area and did not come close to hitting half the good stuff thats in the area. A few roads we hit were 421, 133, 58, 143, 19e, and some of the Blue Ridge parkway. IMO 421 puts the dragon to shame, the mountain stretches have smoother and more exciting curves with out the Police pull offs everyplace. This road is called the Dragon Slayer for a reason. and its closer to columbus then the dragon by over an hour. So if your looking for some good riding with out the tourist trap feel or thinking about a trip to the dragon this maybe someplace to look into. for additional info check out 421thesnake.com Roan Mountain Linville Falls Carvers Gap Roan Mountain On Backbone Rock Below Backbone Tunnel 33 Miles of switchbacks Shady Valley country store
  6. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/4/68/4503/ITEM/Pro-Grip-719-RVGS-Open-End-Gel-Grip.aspx I vote for the pro grip 719 I put the gel model of those on every bike I buy, also the rubber covers for the clutch and brake give added comfort and increased grip on the levers
  7. I just got back from the bristol area today, we rode there for four days and it was a blast. Us421 also known as the snake is insane. There are tons of good roads in the shady valley area to
