    Beaver Tail run!

Beaver Tails are the most amazing bakery treat ever. Basically a pizza made with donut dough with amazing toppings. Deb and I first discovered them on a trip in Quebec City. Pauly and I were going to do an Iron Butt to St Sault Marie Canada for them, but then COVID hit. They are that good. Apple is best, banana and chocolate is a very close second. https://beavertails.com/products/ The current plan is the Saturday after Labor Day. Round trip Niagara on the Canadian side. 225 miles each way. All freeway 10 to 15 over. To go to Canada you need proof of vaccination and have to do this precheck thing in an app. And have a valid passport. If interested LMK.

    I'm Retired!

So, as a consultant you would be 1099 I assume. So you have to pay both half's of social security. Also, what you earn will be deducted from your social security. There are rules on that.....check into it. I think it only hits the month you get paid by them. I am basing my answer on the Google range of 85 to 125 for that job. Look at your old salary and turn it into an hourly rate. Double it and round up to the next 100. Then keep rounding up to a minimum of 200 per hour. 250 sounds better to me. And they pay you for prep time to build the class. And your travel time. And you tell them what days. None of this Monday, Wednesday, Friday crap. It's days in a row so your time off isn't all chopped up. Otherwise, tell them they can blow you.
  8. Oh shit, things just got expensive. But cool as hell. https://www.cyclespinner.com/
  9. Starting to lean towards something like the below, then add some steel/aluminum plates under the centerstand area. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-Coin-10-ft-Wide-x-Your-Choice-Length-Grey-Commercial-Grade-Vinyl-Flooring-HK70CN10X1SG/204820743
  10. I am considering a large TV at the back. In the winter I can sit on the bike, make vroom vroom sounds and play videos of country roads on the screen. Wing-shed? I am thinking Wing-Palace.
  11. In my quest to be like @Howabusa I will shortly have a large dedicated shed for my Wing. It will be getting a nice interior with light and heat and tunes and pin up girls. My question is flooring. It has a really thick wood floor, but I want to step it up. Something that will clean up well, and survive the centerstand decently. I am thinking RaceDeck or GarageTrac, but wanted to ask those that have gone before me what they did.
  12. You pics you posted are of an 18+ and a 17- Very different animals.
  13. Ironpony used to, but no more. Only places I know of fpr a rental are in Miami and Maryland. Your best bet is a demo ride at a dealership, which isn't easy these days. Sills and Western Reserve in Cleveland will let you demo one. If they have one. My wife was the same, old man's bike. Until I got her on one.
  14. So, that is twice in this thread you are wrong.
  15. Cool story bro (or should I say BMW Bro), but not true. https://www.guidelinelaw.com/shoplifting-in-california/
  16. You might be on to something there. Are they sophisticated enough to know Hondas are better... therefore they don't buy BMWs...therefore there are none to steal?
  17. Guess they don't even bother to steal BMW's.
  18. Good for you Bubba, great bike man.
