  1. Next, insulate the ceiling. Walls are onhold until after the city inspection. Also need to add some more vents in the front so the fan can pull more air.
  2. The Goldwing palace now has light and a temp controlled fan with BLUETOOTH!!
  3. Just another big data smoke and mirrors company. Its founder, Peter Thiel, is pretty much scum.
  4. Brought my grandkids and son to the Wu Tang concert tonight.
  5. Electrician picked today, they will start work tomorrow. May take a bit, I am having the main electrical box replaced because it is from a company that went out of business due to fires. That was not an upsell from the electrician, it was my request. He said yes, I have replaced 5 or 6 of these that caught on fire.
  6. Appreciate it. I can probably beat some of that with the fan. It will kick in based on heat or humidity. I will keep an eye on it. I can easily add a small space heater if it happens. Insulating the ceiling to keep heat out. Insulating the walls because I will drywall it, so I might as well insulate it first.
  7. Tell me more about moisture in the winter, compared to a garage? Not giving you a hard time, you clearly know something I don't. Insulated, temp controlled exhaust fan for the summer and a big screen tv are the current plans.
  8. That works for me, and gives you additional time to find a Dairy Queen on the route.
  9. Progress on the Goldwing Palace. Landscaping and ramp done. Next is electrical inside.
  10. Dog for sale, comes with 2 sub woofers.
  11. That's a great bike, very happy for you!
  12. Next, landscaping trim along the edge of the stones, dirt and the ramp.
  13. So was chatting with my mom. She asked how the painting was going, said I was almost done with the second coat on the trim. She was... Oh, so almost done. No, I still have to paint the walls Dumbass, you do the trim last. I have always done trim first. I can't imagine it any other way. I googled it and it seems it is a big debate. So, let's have a poll. Her husband was listening. He said we were both stupid, you should hire someone. He is not wrong.
  14. ^ Strong candidate for post of the year.
  15. Much appreciated I will check it out Not going to decide what way to go until it is in there and I work on it a bit. Maybe a lift, maybe a chock or maybe nothing. A lot depends on how backing in goes. Painting this thing sucks. Took forever today just to put the first coat on the front trim. Because it was assembled on site paint was an extra 600 bucks. I think that is their 'we don't want to paint it on site price'. I should have paid it.
  16. Yes it is. However, now that it is in place and I look at the topography I believe I will be able to easily back it in with reverse. It is not going to be uphill hardly at all. The guys that built it were pretty amazing. It had to be built on site because of it's location. Yes they arrived with everything precut....but damn, 2 hours and they were done and gone.
