  1. Hmmm.... What could possibly go wrong with this idea! So are you going to ride out to Hilliard tonight?
  2. No rain till Sunday. Should be a nice night for a ride. Is it "Wing Night" there tonight?
  3. Rain Sux, Anybody brave or unlucky enough to get caught in this monsoon rainstorm?
  4. Caught the other thread, answered a lot of questions. http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=26667 Sounds like a blast, count me in!
  5. The parade would start when? The cookout would start when? I should have read this a little closer before posting my last comment. So, you want Ohio Rider people to ride in the parade itself? So the KoC does not have it's own bikes, but wishes to add ours to the parade? As in 2mph formation riding? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just not getting what is going on past the food part, missed lunch, might have something to do with it.
  6. Go south young man! For there be hills there! Anything around here you hear referred too as a hill is just a small grade. The locals don't know what a real hill looks like, central Ohio is basically flat. Welcome to the board!
  7. Knights? Do we have to wear green wool tights? (Shameless reference to cheesy TV commercial) Hmmm... 4217 e. main st whitehall ohio 43213.... http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=4217+e.+main+st+whitehall+ohio+43213&ie=UTF8&ll=39.945805,-82.831764&spn=0.145554,0.270538&z=12&iwloc=A Ahhh! Knights of Columbus, so no green wool tights then. There's a relief! Sounds like fun, so what all is going on there? Besides a Parade and some grub? I didn't know the KoC were into bikes. Shriners I have heard of. What kind of parade is it going to be? A serious one or a spoof kinda parade like the Shriners clown parade? What kinda bikes will be in the parade? Ok, no smart remarks about the bike in the sig please! It is bigger than the one in the picture above and my feet aren't anywhere near that big!
  8. So, you are from the North Side? Srusly thou... These guys are usually hiring: https://www.teleperformance.com/jobsearch/viewer.aspx?id=29396&jobID=152&langID=1033&langType=1033 If your into that kind of thing that is... To be fair a large number of IT people would rather collect un-employment and watch glue dry instead of working there. (Or, be covered in honey and live on an fire ant farm, or wear milk bone underwear and work at the dog pound, or...) On the other hand, it's a $10/hr job.
  9. But, how would you know you were running from a chopper? Or would that be on the order of: LEO said "Your Honor, I had to do 120mph just to catch up with them". Defendant replied. "And exactly how long after I went by did you wait till you started your car and or gave chase? One minute, two minutes, five minutes?"
  10. Update: Problem solved with some silicone sealer. I swear that and duct tape _is_ a tool box! (I'm talking about a 1980 Kawasaki) The happy owner before me put some way cool yellow "High Performance 8.5mm" spark plug wires and new rubber weather-proof boots that fit on the coils of my bike. Of course the original 8.0mm wire screw on retainers didn't fit so they threw them away. Make it work with less parts, right? Of course they were crap and arced everywhere. So I replaced them with 8.0mm wires. From NAPA of all places as single lead wires - read from the coil to the distributor on a car - $20.00 and down the road! But after about 1000 mi they worked loose and to make a long story short it ran poorly. I have tightened the wires up but with only the poor fitting little rubber boots holding them in I don't expect this to last long. Any ideas on how to hold the wires securely in place? Kawasaki does not seem to sell these as separate items. Might they be the same size for Honda, Suzuki etc?
  11. Design #1, Replace the Kanji with the Steelers stars. Replace hayabusa with the word "Steelers" Add small Steelers sticker to the tail section. Ohio Riders sticker on the frame. Add yellow pin stripes to the front fender.
  12. That was a nice touch wasn't it? Yea Arby's! On the other hand it was hot enough that water was needed.
  13. Out running Motorola is the trouble....
  14. Anybody else see the scooter brigade? 10 - 20 scooters in formation?
