  1. Aside from the ram, it happens so fast. Not a whole lot the rider could do to avoid the animals. All the more reason for gear, you just never know what is going to jump out in front of you.

  4. Fine job on the pics. You even got my "Shirley Temple Side", aw shucks... Anyway, fast time to posting from the event! Pretty awesome instant sports journalism!
  5. A fast run back to C-Bus, safely I will add. Neck is a little stiff from holding it in place at speed, seasonal dis-affliction, by fall, won't be an issue. Thanks to the Dayton crew for the tag-a-long! A Good day.
  6. The weather is looking iffy... Scattered rain. With riders from all over the state, somebody is going to run into some rain. Hope we don't have any big storms that day.
  7. I hear you on the issue. From what little I know about it diet seems to be a major factor. Also weight, which is also a byproduct of diet. Firstly at least 3 if not 5 meals a day. Not big ones but at least something for the body to work with. Avoid "Starvation or Hibernate" modes. Cut carbs and avoid white bread like a plague. Stop soda pop even if it claims to be diet or low calorie. Increase fiber in the diet. Still on the fence over beer although alcohol does metabolize as a sugar. Exercise alone will not help you loose weight. A pizza after a workout makes the workout pretty pointless. Being a little hungry all the time is the key. Cuts in A1C can be done in just a couple of months doing this. Which is pretty cool since A1C is supposed to be a three month averaging kind of number. Hope this helps. 9. Go ahead post up your favorite destinations. One of mine is the "Velvet Ice Cream Factory" (Which doesn't open till Monday, sigh...) Near rt 62 and rt 13 in Utica. A nice ride and an ok lunch ending with a nice ride from C-bus. Whats your favorite destination?
  10. Ok, in first... "That's what she said" ( I don't understand this "its too big" nonsense. ) LOL!!! C'mon just too easy... On the other hand... Seems to work better, even if you use google or the like...

  14. I didn't own a rain suit before that ride. And of course it stopped raining as soon as I got home. I bought a rain suit as soon as I warmed up and dried off after that ride, kinda like an anti-rain charm. Even so, New Concord to C-bus in the rain was interesting to say the least.
  15. Hmm..... Might be an interesting project. If all else fails... Send me a PM. Certified skills, just sayin' Friends don't let friends run your OS. yuk! 8.1?!? Move up to win 10 or back to win 7 Ummm... Just sayin' no hate, And of course, Linux is so cool most peoples heads explode whey figure it out. Just sayin' but of course Solaris is better by some accounts, but they are nuts by other accounts, so who can say. Anyway, want help?
  16. Probable cause for being pulled over? Alcohol might have been involved.... Ya think? http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/drunk/tree-in-car-drunk-driver-283945
  17. The Best Road Trip Ever, According To Science. Recently, scientists devised the "perfect road trip" - a colossal trek through all 48 continental states that visits 50 different landmarks. What makes this route so special? It doesn't really matter where you live. The map is essentially one big loop around the country, so just hop on the path in whatever state you live in. You might have heard of or visited some of these landmarks already, but others you may not have ever heard of. The route is curated in such a way that it takes you to the sights everyone talks about, like the Statue of Liberty or Grand Canyon, while also showing you America's lesser known treasures along the way.
