  1. Today was a great day of riding and chatting. It was great to see some new faces today as well as some regulars. The temp never got up to where it was forcasted to but we still had a great time. If you have never been out to Peggy Sue's in New Castle you are missing out on some great pies. 12 bikes today and one all the way from Lima. Thanks to everyone that showed up.
  2. You are welcome to use mine if you still need one. I will not be using it around Christmas.
  3. Sounds like it is going to be a monster. Looking forward to seeing the finished product in action next spring.
  4. That thing was new, what are you doing to it?
  5. We are going to try and do one more ride this coming weekend. The route is only 117 miles, takes us up to Peggy Sues for lunch then coming back down 79. We will meet at 6075 East Livingston Ave at 10:30 and depart at 11:00. So far the weather is looking pretty good (sunny with high of 54) but as we all know this time of year it could change dramatically. Come out for a nice afternoon ride enjoying the bikes for one last trip of 2010. The route: http://ridewithgps.com/trips/132318
  6. I would be bringing my misses but she already has plans to do something with the girls (Mall shopping) not something I was interested in doing. Judd, we will be going through Johnstown so why don't we meet you somewhere over there.
  7. Found this statement on http://site.powergamingparts.com/RepairNdsl.html "Replacing the top display screen or case requires soldering." Not looking good for you Todd
  8. If it is anything like a digital camera screen it is very simple to replace. Don't be skeered, shove your fat fingers in there and replace it. You will be your daughters hero.
  9. I will put this on the schedule. Looking forward to meeting some more of the OR ghosts.
  10. I use the Chatterbox xbi and really like it. When I purchased it they had not come out with the bike to bike unit but so far I have not ridden with anyone else that had one anyway so it does not matter. It works great for listening to music while riding and I have answered the phone while going down I71 at 70mph and the person I was talking to had no idea I was on my bike.
  11. That was 45 minutes of my life I will never get back.
  12. Which is why I have never tried it.
  13. There is a course that opened up this year at Alum Creek State Park off of Africa Road. I have never tried it but have thought it may be something interesting to do when I have nothing else to do.
  14. What he said. Pinlock shield inserts are great. They are easy to install and remove if you use the tinted one but for just fog prevention I would go with the clear insert.
  15. I guess I better get a route together just in case there is no snow on the ground.
  16. It was on the way back up from 56 on 374 we missed 678 so I stayed on 374 to 180 and jumped back on the route.
  17. Todd, You missed a good ride and there were a couple motards on it as well, you would have fit right in if you would have brought the tard but I don't think you could have kept up with that Husky. That thing was fast and awesome looking as well.
  18. I am very happy Ben is out there. I always know when I see him everyone else is safe. If someone goes down he is always the first to notify me through my cell phone, thankfully I have my bluetooth headset playing my tunes so I can hear his call.
  19. Turns out it was not dead batteries but where it was mounted it vibrated too much as caused a bad connection with the batteries. As soon as I missed the turn I briefly considered turning back but since I knew we could end up at the same place by going a little further I figured I would keep going. I figured you were going to bring up the moment when we stopped at the first gas station and I took off running to go to the restroom. I was about to wet myself, could not concentrate on anything but having to pee so I had to stop. Made a mental note to not drink so much water for breakfast next time. The sad part of Ebon missing the ride was it was his route and he even picked the lunch stop which was very good by the way as well as cheap and relatively quick for as many as we had with only one server. Ben, I really appreciated you making every ride. With the issues that you are dealing with that is saying something. I am looking forward to next year and hopefully some gatherings over the winter months just to keep the bench racing going.
  20. It was a great day of riding today and a good way to finish off the season.
