  1. We will not be doing an organized ride this month. I am encouraging everyone to participate in the OR Anniversary event. If anyone would like to meet at Calvary Chapel of Columbus and ride down to the start point of the event let me know. This is the link to the details of the Anniversary event. http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=78115
  2. Me and my WR would be all over doing this.
  3. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
  4. The bike sold tonight. Sad to see it go but I know it will be taken care of.
  5. Nope, they have been involved with horses for several years now and they know that I will not be without bike plus my wife enjoys the ST almost as much as I do so that will not be an option. My oldest is getting her license in October so I need to get prepared for that with car and insurance also. My family is not even aware of me parting with the Ape, it will be a surprise to them since they know how much I enjoy riding that bike.
  6. I will just be riding the ST. Too many other things I can spend my money on right now with two teenage girls that are into horses so I need to part with some of my excess toyage.
  7. The dyno day the Brian did a couple month ago only showed it at 106hp. Seat of the pants dyno rates it much higher.
  8. I have to start looking at the dates on these threads before I read all pages.
  9. I have a 2000 Aprilia RSV Mille in great shape for its age. Only has 11,000 miles on it and has been taken very good care of since I have owned it. The only thing it needs at this time is a new chain and that is only because of cosmetically it has some surface rust on the links because the previous owner did not ride the bike for a couple years. I just installed a new set of Pirelli Diablo's on it. Bike has the passenger seat plus the rear cowl. Flush mount front signals and integrated tail light / signals for the rear. If you are interested in a bike that is different then most running around the Mid West this is the one. PM me for more info

That is good to know Brian, I have the program and the plug but have not used it yet.
  11. It was over the weekend but this morning I pulled the bike out of the shed, sitting on the gravel driveway, geared up and raised side stand, realized I did not have my gloves, forgot the side stand was not still down and stepped off the bike. Me and the Sprint are laying in the gravel. Left side panel pretty scratched up as well as my left knee.
  12. Absolutely not, When my girls were in pre-school I would ride them to school. My wife heard a lot of grief about it. Now I have two teenage girls that like to ride dirt bikes and one of them enjoys riding on the Aprilia with me. She prefers it over the Sprint ST with a backrest.
  13. Probably my fault, I think I may have sent something out stating that we would not be doing a ride because of the clinic. I had my dates mixed up. Sorry for the thread hijack!
  14. That is nuts. I have seen people make the gesture as if they were coming over to block but never found anyone to do what that dude did. It is amazing that he thought he was making his streets safer by trying to run over the bike. Did he really believe that if he hit the bike all would be better. Some people just don't think! I guess if the Sheriff is ok with running bikes off the road he probably did not think he would have any trouble for killing an out of town biker.
  15. I will be leading a CSBA ride that day anyway so I have no problem combining destinations.
  16. That is too bad. I was planning the CSBA ride for June to end at this event. Now I guess I better get to work on a route. Maybe if there is still an anniversary ride we can all end up at the same place or put together a couple different routes, one scenic and one fast.
  17. It was great to be able to ride with you again Brian. It is hard to believe the last time we rode together was the summer of 2009. There will be many more rides to come this season. Now that you have the cobwebs shaken out we can venture more south east for a more scenic route.
  18. Does not look like it will be a big group, maybe 6 or 7 if I am counting correctly. It is going to be a warm one today. It will be good to see Brian out on that bike. See everyone at 1:00.
  19. That must be my problem, I am always paying attention to the surroundings as well as the road so I did see the scooter on the way down 666. One of the things I always try to do when riding on a road I have not been on much is pay attention to the tree line or the power lines to see where the next corner is going to take me but that has proved to be wrong many times in Ohio.
  20. Really, not sure how much better you can get UP. I think you may have reached the limit.
  21. Great ride everyone. It was great to see so many new faces as well as some older ones. One small incident but no harm so all was well. 23 bikes is a lot to keep up with but it all worked out. Thanks for all of you coming out today, hope to ride with everyone of you again soon.
  22. Depending on how many we end up with it is possible we will need to split it up into two groups.
  23. I can but I need you to PM his number to me.
  24. I will leave the meeting place up to Brian but my suggestion would be to meet in the Kroger Parking lot located at the corner of Galloway Rd and W. Broad St.
  25. Thanks for that image U.P., you should have warned me before clicking on the link. I just got back from lunch. That is one nasty wound.
