  1. I would probably agree with that but the snowbird season is the best time to ride as far as weather which is why they are down there. Most of the snowbirds are probably from Ohio.
  2. If you see a Red Goldwing with flames, red Bandit 1250 with full body kit and a blue Triumph Sprint ST Saturday give us a wave. We are leaving at 4:30am Saturday to do the Iron Butt Bun Burner which is 1000 miles in 24 hours. We will be very close to hayesville as our lowest point before we head back north. It is possible we will get down there and decide it is not worth it to try and do it all in 24 hours so we may end up staying the night and riding some more of that awesome area. Hope you have a great trip and make some awesome memories.
  3. That list must be for cruisers, I lived in Florida and yes the weather is great, road surface is smooth but There are so many more elderly pulling out in front of you because they can't see you and there are zero curves with the exception of the interstate clover leafs. We would spend hours running the clover leafs.
  4. Todd, You are welcome to take the TTR125. It is plated and you should be able to stay out of trouble with it.
  5. I have only received requests from 3 riders for a copy of their videos. If you would like a DVD of your videos please let me know.
  6. You will be doing an epic ride yourself. One day I would love to get out there and ride the PCH.
  7. It seems like it has been forever since we have done a group ride but the time has come for another monthly ride. We will be heading more south then east this ride ending up in Ironton before we head back north. Total of 287 miles, if we have enough riders we will split into two groups to make it easier to maintain the group. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/502108 Same as every ride, meet at 8:30, depart at 9:00 from Calvary Chapel of Columbus located at 6075 E. Livingston Ave. There is a speedway just down the street from the church so please come filled up ready to roll. I hope to see many of you out for the ride.
  8. There is not a rally planned this year with the NC chapter but there is no reason we could not plan a trip down there. Labor Day weekend there is a rally out of Wellsboro, PA that is being put on by Bob and Joe, the guys that came to do the Knee Down clinic. Todd and I are planning on attending that one. I will post more info as it gets closer.
  9. Good luck down there, I have done some riding in that area with some friends that live there and the riding is awesome. Hopefully you will ride more down there then you did up here.
  10. Todd, put it on the schedule to go to the Fall rally with us Labor Day weekend. There will be some awesome riding to be had with zero traffic in northern PA, based out of Wellsboro. I will post up more info when we get closer. Welcome Joe!
  11. I will get some pictures and video up as soon as I can. Probably won't be until tomorrow for the video though.
  12. If any of you that are coming have a chair that you can bring you may want to bring it. It will be a long day on your feet unless you sit on the ground. I will have a few chairs loaded in my trailer also.
  13. Ebon said we can use his bike as the stationary. It is more of a middle class sport touring so if someone else has a true sport bike we could use it would be better but Ebon's will do if that is all we have.
  14. How late are you planning on being Todd? We may have to wait for you if we cannot get another sport bike to use. I was planning on using the Aprilia but since it sold two weeks ago that is no longer an option. I would take my Sprint but it really needs to be a true sport bike.
  15. No, you do not need pucks but you do need pants that have padding in the knee. If you plan on dragging your knee which some will and you do not want to tear your pants you may want to pick up some pucks but I would not worry about that too much.
  16. Looks like everyone had a great time. Noticed many familiar faces in the pics as well as some new ones. Wish I could have made it down for this.
  17. We have had a couple more back out of the event so everyone that was on the waiting list is now in and ready to ride. 18. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make this event either due to some health issues I am battling with right now.
  19. Welcome to the board. I work in Westerville and ride almost every day to work. If you are interested in a spirited ride, keep an eye out for the Christian Sport Bike Assoc rides every 3rd Saturday of the month. We have a great time and nobody gets left behind.
  20. This is the updated list of riders that plan on making it. If your name is on this list and you will not be there please let me know. 21. This item is sold. Since I no longer have the Aprilia I figure there is no reason to hang on to this stand. If anyone is interested in this stand PM me.
  22. Ahhh, Yes I was the vote for the tougher stuff.
  23. Nope, bring on the dual sport ride. I have it plated so it is legal.
