  2. reps and dems are nothing short of identical cousins...
  3. lakers better bring it tomorrow!! ;)

  4. i am a gal who has been learning to ride street bikes in the last six weeks. i've grown up riding dirtbikes. bc streetbikes to me have a larger presence when you are sitting on them vs a dirtbike -- the walking technique at first was crucial. additionally, i agree with a previous poster that first gear is a little too jerky but if she can inherantly get the clutching/manual driving feel down, she'd progress faster. thats my two cents from a gal who is still learning safe riding on the streets. im scheduled for my class up at honda in late august, but ive snooped in and observed some classes over at delaware to see how the instructors facilitate their classes.
  5. that was definetly interesting to look through. i just had to buy a bluetooth bc i am leaving for a month long road trip and there are several states i'll cross headed out west that it is now illegal to hold a cell while driving. in addition to that, i now have to go buy two new car seats for kids who havent rode in them in almost a year.

    wow. very beautiful.
  12. sorry to hear about your crash. i'll admit, i was conscious and very uncomfortable riding yesterday on my dirtbike with out my helmet which normally im so anal about.
  13. isnt that an exciting gesture, to go out without a partner on your own? i was riding my dirtbike on my own yesterday for a little bit. sometimes i wish she was dual sport like yours bc motox bikes have a whole dif. spirit of freedom, or maybe i just feel that way cause ive been riding so long and dont have any hang ups -- lets just say i wont be taking any curbs on my virago or the superhawk! congrats sara! have you any interest in supermoto? i know they have conversion kits, so on and so forth, but id rather put my money somewhere else. tech, i could convert to supermoto/and for sure dual sport. anyhoo, were i not doing a spa event working tonite, id invite you over to luckys in marysville where a friend of mine is the bass guitarist for Station Break -- the band playing tonite... if you do want to meet, i'll be at bennys next saturday the 13th with a group of my girl-friend clients if you're in the area! it will be my last sort of send off of the summer as i'll be on a month long road trip with three kids and a dog. yes. that is correct. and im completely sane too.
  14. wish we could join in. i have bootcamp, birthday parties, and a bachelorette party im working. hope it turns out and looking forward to pics.
  15. i have nine and five year old who cont 2 b fascinated since birth.... u men would love my job. i see boobs all day long!!!
  16. hi julie. im new to the board, new to streetbikes, but grew up off-roading. i love this site. it grows on you. there is alot of good solid feedback, advice and a fair share of jokesters too. i have my training class scheduled at the end of august up at the honda facility in marysville, which is where i live. i recently started riding a yamaha virago 250, but this cruiser is already not enough. ive been practicing conservatively on my husbands sportsbike, which gives me a rush ive never known. i really truly want to learn how to ride and respect these machines, and refine my skills. time will tell. hey sara is right -- come on over to the girls lounge where we talk more filth than the men.... lol
  17. hey sara, enjoying your bike this weekend. my husband and i swung over to the dealer yesterday around 330pm and didnt see a tent.

  18. i think alot of people would agree that a person would jump the scale from 5 to 7 easily if they are interesting and charismatic. being in the presence of a person who is incapable of carrying normal conversation is like pulling hair.. actually id rather listen to nails being scraped acrossed the chalk board!!! ..of course it doesnt hurt if they have nice teeth and smell good. lol.
  19. i see people like that all weekend long in marysville. my kids point them out. thats the only time i let my kiddos use the words "dumbass." everybody wave!!!
  20. welcome. im new too to the board and street bikes but have been off-roading all my life. nice bike. -Kimberly
