Got my Tamron lens today... really nice, I'm a little surprised by the build quality. I was expecting lightweight and felt flimsy... very solid lens. http://www.tamron.com/lenses/prod/75300mm.asp

You may want to shoot a quick note to a mod/admin, they probably won't have an issue with you offering stuff for sale, especially to help out someone else (ie you're not starting a thread you're offering it for someone looking)... but double check.

I've heard similar tips, the Canon has a 50mm 1.8f lens that goes for <$100 and people swear by it... might be less than what you need if you aren't up close. My camera body is 1.6 so the 50mm ends up being 80... still not very zoomy

I was going to post that lol.... we were in PA for a wedding and someone asked how far we drove to get there... My wife looks up and says "It wasn't bad at all, about 1 and a half hours".... the person looked at her with this puzzled look... so I chimed in "it was about 100 miles"

EXACTLY! Don't get me wrong, I admire the effort and knowledge that comes from the training... I find the sheer audacity to put it in your email means you don't deserve it. 100% should be on the resume, that's where it belongs! Not in any business emails.

Is it the same as with cars? 1 sticker = 1 hp? I thought I recalled because of the weight coefficient 1 sticker was closer to 5 hp but I'm no good with all this technical/mechanical hoohah
