Yah, for what you get a hybrid is just not worth it... I love the commercial where the guy talks about his hands not smelling gas. When was the last time you filled up gas and thought "man I wish they had a convenient way to pump gas without getting it all over!"

LOL, I was actually just thinking about that... a few years ago I drove an Aveo at the Cleveland auto show in motion... I broke it... No joke, I was fucking around with it, putting it into neutral than red lining it and shifting it into gear... put it in reverse while moving... it ended up NOT shifting out of drive so I had to pull the emergency brake while in drive... was pretty funny. Aww fuck you edited. I haven't really strayed from the original post... 25k budget, looking to spend a certain amount on a car because I know I won't be able to ride a majority of the year... so I want something I'll enjoy driving.

That seems correct (correct interpretation of the graphic)... it's really good information, i think the reason I struggle with this graphic so much is because it doesn't "prove a point"... there isn't a clear "See, this is why 16 year olds shouldn't be allowed to ride a bike".... Crazy stuff though, really good information, just difficult to infer action or legislature based on it!

interesting... the helmet usage is confusing though, does motorcyclists injured indicate LESS death? Also, does more % being helmeted indicate the cause (probably not) or just a subject of how many people wear their helmet in comparison to not? hypothetical questions, just what popped in my mind.

We're going over to her parents' tomorrow so she has to be more patient since she's asking me to do something. So I'm going to get the bike all warmed up put her on it, have her walk it in neutral, power walk SEVERAL times..... then once down the street and back.... Any bets on how many times I get yelled at, time's she cries, physical damage to Scarlett........ Should be fun though, good experience for both

LOL I know, and what's sad is that's almost exactly how my last car purchase went down. Today I got the following people hassle me, in order of difficulty getting ride of them: 30yo with way to greased hair 50yo with bad tie and "I'm a manager" attitude 65yo 20yo black guy trying to be cool with me "yah man, I saw you looking at that one and I was like 'awwww man I can help him" Several 30-50yos that left me alone when I said "Just looking, I'll holler if I need you" I've found having my bright orange ear plugs helps, as long as they're close enough to see them, never take off my sunglasses (they come off for 3 seconds while I take my helmet off or put it on), and don't acknowledge any questions other than to greet and get them away from me. "Hyundai or Mitsubishi?" What? Just looking *while turning around*. I know these folks are just trying to do their jobs, but I'm not their key demo and their not going to make a sale on me, so I'm saving them some time, but it sucks they lost their "ups" to me. Another thing I found funny... the most aggressive kid... I didn't notice until I was leaving... their showroom is a CPZ... so even if I saw one and he convinced me to come inside I would have had an easy "sorry pal, can't go in there"... money talks and in these times they shouldn't be turning away sales.
