  4. Dude! It's fucking gay, nipple tape FTL... seriously, it's a sweet picture but it really upsets me because I want to see the uncensored version
  5. Those are supposedly bright enough to stop a bear charging... or some masculine shit like that... I want to mount one on my bike.
  6. you know what else works really well? Not riding like a jackass that that douche And for That Dude.... I found this smilie
  7. Man.... how can I get on a notification list for this kind of stuff? I definitely would have loved to go!
  8. Not sure where you're located, but State 8 has a great selection... I dealt with a younger kid to buy my bike 2004 Vulcan 800 and ended up getting it for a great deal... Let me know if you need someone to ride it a short distance
  9. Hey hey hey now, let's not blame the insurance companies! For Ohio motorcycle ERC would classify if it is a approved safety course... as far as I know ERC is approved.... Now in terms of insurance let me preface this by saying I am NOT a licensed agent, nor do I have anything to do with rating, claims etc. I work in business and "experience" on the quoting applications (how, why, what it looks like). Any advice I give you here you MUST review with a licensed agent. Take a look at a few things when you're shopping for your insurance, particularly the vehicle usage, mileage if they ask, deductibles, and limits. Some companies *cough*Geico*cough* default everything to legal state minimum. Personally I'm carrying 100/300 BIPD and uninsured motorist, 500 comp and coll deductibles (because it was only 5-10$ more than $1k deductible). If you have health insurance you don't really need Medical Payments. Again, review it with a licensed agent.... but bottom line.... if ERC is approved it's good for a discount for Progressive at least.
  10. Man, I will be excited to see this when you finish...... let me know how thick the thing is... I'm wondering if I can do this on my own.... cut out a piece of material the same size as the gauge, drill some holes and overlay a graphic on it (either silkscreen or something sun resistant)... but judging by this guys pricing I'd be cheaper just buying from him assuming it isn't a cheap sticker. Just have to find a design that isn't hella lame for a cruiser.
  11. Actually, jerry-rigged (gerry, jeri, jerri, jury(the original) etc) was used to refer to german engineering during WW2. I had been referring to things as "jerry-rigged" and someone asked me "How does your wife let you say that! Isn't she german?!?" (she is first generation American on her father's side).... I had no idea... so they had to explain. My wife obviously didn't care. But yes, n*gger rigged, jimmy rig, ghetto rig all originated out of the original "Jury rig" which is supposedly from latin adjutare ("to aid") (looked that up)
  12. oh man that's sweet.... where are the streamers and the card in the spokes?
  13. I DEMAND PICTURES..... now, not in a couple days!

  15. Progressive offers a safety course discount.... might be a bit hard to get it on mid-term, I'd have to check. Disclosing now, I work for Progressive and my opinions are my own and do not represent the company... etc etc etc

    CPU question

Format and test it, but I've had drives making those noises and no other problems.... 2 weeks later.... completely dead... Good luck
  17. I rode to the store to get new gloves (didn't find any) and it started raining about 1 mile from the house (store is only 2 miles away).... first ride in the rain... check
  18. That makes good sense! I usually leave for work pretty early (6:30-7 am). I have usability on Wednesday so it seemed like a good day (no rush, can leave the lab early if I have to). One option is definitely to just wait another week for after the MSF.... but I'm going to do the ride sooner or later, and it seems like 200 miles and a lot of good advice has given me a decent idea of what to look for.
  19. Still have my temps, but even if I didn't, gotta stay off the highway until I'm more comfortable. I can take 91 from my house straight to work, it's 16 miles. Any tips, tricks, or thoughts for riding into work? I suppose it will be cold-ish so warm gear and be more aware since drivers are paying even less than zero attention. Anything else? really really appreciate the advice!
  20. You were wrong to have an avatar that covers up nipples.... nipples need air!
  21. Let's all just move to Montana or Arizona.... then we can ride everywhere at 100 mph
  22. Like most the people here have suggested, go to Sears and ask for some help. I was there a couple days ago... they have bits you use to drill INTO the bolt head, then reverse it and it comes out. Also, you can try a set of "rounded" nut removers. Last option, get a pair of vice grips and grab on tight as shit.... just remember, the more damage you do the more likely you'll need to do something serious to get it off.
