Why in the name of all that's flat and boring would anyone ride Western Ohio? Do a tour of Eastern Ohio and have a better time.

From Dayton take 70 to Columbus, exit 270 north around to Westerville 3c exit. Go south (left) about 3 miles and it'll be on the left not far after the Auto Zone. Used to be a K-mart so look for a big building.

Me and eight other DS riders did a nice tour up the old abandond Conrail RR bed, then road up to West Liberty then back to Plain City. About 120 miles of on and off road for me. A couple riders had a bit further to travel. Nice meeting some fellow local DS riders in the area.

Good ride today and nice meeting those who came. Especially nice to meet some local DS riders in the area. Didn't do many photos since we were to busy riding but here a few I did take. Group at McD's in Plain City Shawn trailered in:rolleyes: Out on the moto track near Ohio Caverns The guy handled that Dl650 really well! Totally humbled my abilities on the DL1000.

I'm already doing an on-off road ride tomorrow but I'd suggest the following rt as being worth it from Troy. 41 East from troy to Springfield and rt 68 68 South to Yellowsprings and rt 343 343 East to 72 and south on 72 to rt 35 take 35 east rt50 east all the way across to rt33 in Athens Take rt 33 north to Nelsonville In Nelsonville catch rt 278 West across to rt 56 take rt 56 West through Ash cave area and back to London Just north of London on rt 56 catch I70 and head home.

I had two HD guys wave at me today. Yeah, I was on the KTM. So being a KTM snob I felt no need to wave back! But I waved because I'm still a nice guy even if my bike is nicer/better than theirs.

Bong! Nope I think he said his ride was a Honda. A harley rider wouldn't even acknowledge my existance on a KTM. Reminds me of my one appearance at QSL on the KTM. Had about 5 people in leather jackets and HD t-shirts come over and ask "who makes that bike". KTM? It's on the tank.

Can you make it 100 miles on a tank? If so you can fill up in Plain city and then top off in west Liberty.
