  1. I see a wish in his right hand, I wonder what's in his left? If you were just getting a car I would recommend a Nissan Altima V6 as a stealth car that will actually move! At least mine does.
  2. Advertising lets people know you exist, word of mouth and personal experience tells them if your worth their time.
  3. Not nearly as bad as the blond who stopped doing her fazorite puzzle after three weeks because the box said it was for 5 - 8 years.
  4. I never got expensive stuff for work. To many thieves in shops who just need it for a second and then never return it. Most of them are managers or supervisors.
  5. That may be true but you don't know their friend Jack! JK On a serious note, why is it that beginners don't buy salvage bikes to fix up and start riding on? Mostly because of lack of knowledge in repair or diagnosis of problems. Wouldn't it be nice if a local shop would help? Sure would build a lot of customer loyalty.
  6. That's why it's cheap, so you should buy two for when the first one breaks!
  7. Always start off by telling them the bike looked better in the photo.
  8. Yeah it's a tough sell when there are people on CL and Ebay dropping prices below fair market value. I guess it wouldn't hurt to back up a higher priced sales with special events like tech days, swap meets and tool rentals. Look at things from the customers perspective, if you wanted to buy and fix up a bike what things do you have access to that the normal Joe/Jane do not?
  9. At $125 a bike I'll lube cables, spray chains, and attach two cables to a battery and press a button all day long! When should we schedual your service? I looked at your site under specials and found I must subscribe to a news letter. Looked at the bikes. I'm a DS rider, all you have is sport and cruisers. Prices didn't do much for me either. I did like you drive train guarantee though.
  10. +1 Zach Lube cable 3 min (3 cables) 10 min Add 3 gal gas Lube chain (10 min if it's a dirt bike, less for street) Load test battery (depends on equipment) 5 min Total 25 min. Easy $$$$ I'll check the site and see what I can recommend.
  11. Oh yeah they do, they just don't get em tagged.
  12. In so far: EJV (adv rider) blackdimondmike (Cavemanrider) cway ? (Cavemanrider) casper ? (or) 1000rrrider ? (or)
  13. If you're doing the beginning practice riding gravel
  14. Wanna get your street bikes dirty? Sunday DS ride starting in Plain City, street bikes welcome to meet up at Macochee Castle around 2pm for some wandering around on paved roads.
  15. It is! If you were out riding you'd be having much more fun than being here reading this crap.
  16. But you said post whores were in trouble!!! I'm just trying to be a good guy. Edit: Thank you! Now I'm just questioned on my ability to be serious again. PS I'm always serious!
  17. You heard it folks, straight from the horses mouth! Sorry, you can neg rep me for that if you wish.
  18. What did they fine the horse for comitting Humanality?
  19. I feel uncomfortable since my stars and bars say I'm a post whore now. Can a get some more or give some away to get rid of this embarassing stigma?
  20. Hour away! What you going to Delaware first? I thought you were near Hillard for some reason.
  21. It would be right up your alley with that DR650.
  22. I was thinking of meeting up in Plain City (McDonalds rt42 and 161) around 11am and riding the rr bed to Woodstock the up around Macochee. This won't be a long or difficult ride so it would leave time to explore the West Liberty / Belfountain area too. Plus if some street riders wanted to meet up at the castle around 2pm we could do that too. Anyone interested?
