Most the trails in that area are unimproved roads and are connected by real roads. So unplated bike usually don't get out there unless you live nearby. On the plus side it also keeps the unwanted quads off the trails as they can't ride between the trail heads either.
All riders wanna see top speed at least once it seems. I don't have that need anymore but I understand it and would rather they did it on a safer road than down I70 during rush hour.
I havn't been on that site since it turned chrome gay But yeah I try to keep using the same avitar on all the sites I am on so people know it is me and can run away.
There are several for sale on the interweb. Not new ones but older versions. Somehow I just know a concept bike as cool as a two smoker will never reach our shores. Europe will get them all.
Drag strip- I suppose I'll spill some beans on a section of road most suited for the guy/gal who wants to top their bike out but doesn't want to afford a track day. It's called Finely Guy rd and is just outside Rosedale. It's 1.8miles, flat as Kansas, has not a single driveway or connector rd, has corn on either side blocking anyone from seeing you from side roads and the other end is visable to see if oncoming traffic is present. This section runs between rt38 and Rosedale Millford Center rd. Condition of the surface is slightly off but good enough to reach 140's on a V-max. Biggest issue is birds, I've caught one or two that were a little slow moving with my helmet. Nothing like a few feathers in your cap!
If it's like other flip switches there is a copper contact inside held in place with glue. Very possible the contact has come unglued and is sticking to the switch. Should be easy enough to unscrew the collar and chase the wires to determine if it is free inside. If so a little emblem glue and a q-tip might be all it takes to reseat it. Good luck.
On a more serious side: Can Yamaha bring back the two stroke motorcycle? The new “sportbike” is supposed to be fairly light weight (around 320 lbs) and produce about 75 horsepower to the back wheel. Power to weight ratio will make this bike run with the 600 series sportbikes. Yamaha RD350 Sportbike http://www.sportbike411.com/blog/category/2009-sportbikes/
Lets see, you've had some experience riding? You like a bike with some go and preformance to it? You're spending a lot of time wanting to find the right girl. Plus you live in New Albany and have to keep up with the Wexners? (Pluging into data base of perfect bikes for people) ;)Top pick-----> Be a proud American on a british bike painted so that every girl knows you have disposable income for her needy ass. Plus this bike will let you take her on long trips where she won't be able to do anything but hold onto your ass till you stop! It might not get you to the finnish line first but when you're on a bike like this no one will care. ***This has been a free service and results do not represent the actual bike you might desire or ever want to be seen next to.***
Yeah sounds like the kill switch has debris in it allowing the contact to close, but why the high beam switch is killing your ride is beyond me? Not a space craft electrician but if the high beam switch is killing your engine then something is grounding out or shorting out. Otherwise it would only effect the lights.
Okay!!! :rolleyes:I need tires and tubes, crash bars, bark busters, might as well get a new chain, how about some 44in waist offroad pants, some new goggles, got the Arai dual sport helmets?..... Oh, crap I can go on and on and.....
Sorry, still no word from GF, her phone is on the fritz! So I have to wait for her to call me, or is she dumping me? That would free up more riding time.....
