  1. Where'd you go? Being it's not a DS I'm assuming it wasn't the Flint Ridge Ride. I heard the trails were a mud fest!
  2. I have to admit I'm not sure what the CRF series fitment is but unless your running good handlebars be carefull not to overtighten the throttle side. Cheaper bars will bow and lock up the throttle sleeve when the shim expands. Other than that I just go to IP and find the best price and style bark busters. Amgo worked well on the KLR and I forget what brand is on the 426. Neither set was over $75.
  3. We won't think any less of you for not going inside if you still wanna get the tag.
  4. Couple bars of Green Acres anyone?
  5. This tag was made for the Coshocton Crowd!
  6. No fee. but as mentioned before this is in support of Cavemanriders.com. to build awareness about the group and hopefully build new members. -Bikes will need to be street legal, I'm not checking so it's YOUR responsibility if you get stopped. I look forword to meeting you guys.
  7. Well, I'm glad you got that out. It's a game and if you noticed I didn't put the first tag in Franklin county either. I was glad you went to get it because no one was apparently going to. I did think it was rude for you to admit that you thought about killing the game by not posting a new tag, even if it was just to screw with me. But you didn't. My comment about going to get it myself is to encourage others to beat me to the punch. Not a comment about where the tag is or how far it is to get there. Dam, you'd think we didn't like eachother.
  8. Obviously Meef simply wanted to stall/kill this. Too bad he being so moody. Well, if I get time I'll go get it and relocate it since it seems there may still be some interest in the game. If not I guess the thread dies due to lack of interest.
  9. Try 56? I live off of 56. I have to take 56 to go almost anywhere. Ludlow is cool and so are Bringer and Near. But like I said this is western Ohio. Nothing around here compares to the roads to the South and East. But sometimes you have to work with what you got.
  10. Your fiegning ignorance Meef. Come on, you know what to do. Hell your so addicted to the game you'd give up crack cocain to get a new tag.
  11. EVA Track T800: a 2WD, biodiesel-powered adventure motorcycle A Dutch company known as EVA has been working on a new diesel-powered adventure tourer for the last few years, and the machines are reportedly ready for sales in Europe. A 54-horsepower oil-burner that's capable of running on biofuels is a great start, and the standard CVT transmission and optional two-wheel drive are icing on the cake. Fuel mileage of 100 miles per gallon at a steady 55 mph is the result, and a six gallon tank means that range will never be a problem. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Model:Highland AllroadYear:2008 Displacement:936.00 ccm (57.11 cubic inches)Engine type:Single cylinderStroke:4Power:85.00 HP (62.0 kW)) @ 6000 RPMTorque:104.00 Nm (10.6 kgf-m or 76.7 ft.lbs) @ 4000 RPMCompression:11.0:1Bore x stroke:95.0 x 66.0 mm (3.7 x 2.6 inches)Ignition:Highland integrated engine management system with ignition coils fitted directly on the spark plugsStarter:ElectricCooling system:LiquidGearbox:6-speedTransmission type final drive:Chain
  12. What no DVD player???
  13. Everyone has their way of hauling the gear on the long trips. Lets see what you haul. I'll start. V-strom loaded on the trip to the Dragon KLR with saddle bags. Easy to strap the tent and sleeping bag across the back over the top. Lets see your bikes ready to go.
  14. I did a test ride on a BMW GS1200ADV at VMD and was totally underimpressed with the bike. Clunky trans, Poor low end power band, and bad ergonomics for off road. Not to mention the amount of electronics, ABS issues and fucked up turn signals. In contrast I was blown away by the smooth power, great ride and fantastic suspension of the KTM 950 SE. I now have a bad case of new bike fever. On a side note all the guys at the BMW demo area looked like old computer nerds. I mean who asks if the demo ride has intersection blocked for them? They should have told him they only block the intersections on your way to the cemetary. I did enjoy talking with some of the demo people about riding the smokies. I was surprised they knew where Squallie road was.
  15. Yeah, sorry. Welcome to western Ohio. rt56 is a little longer and adds another dimension to the ride, "Verticle" Changes vs just left or right. Arbuckle Rd off of 40 in Lafaytte has some nice corners, but bring your suspension.
  16. After doing a search, the ohio engineers list County HWY 55 on the south East side of Bellfountain as the only county rd 55 near Clark County. it doesn't look that great. Try Storm creek Rd between Terre Haunt off Hwy55 and Upper valley rd. Also try rt 56 North of I70 near London.
  17. Hey, that's your own fault for bringing the DL1000 down. In comparison to other DS rides this should be easier, more open trails, a bit more time on roads and less private property. If you know the area and have riden it you also know weather plays a big roll in how hard the trails are. A little rain can change hard pack into some slick shit real fast! For people new to the area it will be a great intro, to those who know the area they'll see some old favorites.
  18. You're just mad because I used the photo of you being bruced! Besides this way if one game of tag gets slow hopefull the other site will be rockin' But as it is seems like no one is really into the game here.
  19. GPS says about 80mi and I'd guess less than half is on anything worse than gravel. Real life might be a bit more or less depending on how the group travels.
  20. Date of ride AUG 9th Where? At the gas station in Laurelville. It's at the intersection of 56 and 180. Bring $ for lunch and some good dual sport tires on your bike. Nothing less than a 50-50 tire unless your just "that good". This ride is in support of Cavemanriders.com and it would be appreciated if attendies considered visiting the site and maybe even join if interested in what they have to offer.
  21. Meef's old KLR650, 6.5 gallon IMS tank, SS Moose Pegs, Renthaw bars, 45 tooth rear sprocket, 12,13,14,15 tooth front sprockets, Garmin GPS60C, heated grips (redone since Meef did them ), rear video camera mount, K-9 fork brace, SS Rear break resivior protector, Al skid plate and non Dot tries!
  22. I thought #1 was free tracheotomies for people who complained or the new glad zip lock colostomy bags? and (5) Your primary care physician also does veterinary services.
