  1. RIP Hercules, you were a best friend and companion threw thick and thin. I'll never forget you.
  2. I hope this is a play on Ringo trying to sell his dog.
  3. Wouldn't 30 min west of Knoxville put you just about where I-75 turns South again off I40? Could you mean 30 min East of Knoxville?
  4. Good first posts about your pets (kids) :)

  5. Dito, I don't let any guys love me either. Sorry had to lighten up the mood. I know exactly what you mean about kids.
  6. Gahanna Animal Hospital was always a good place when I went there. They also let me hold Herc (my first Doberman) while they put him to sleep. Then they let me have the room alone with him while I cried and held him. Dam dogs can reach parts of my heart no human can.
  7. Please go shout this at your local HD dealer till they all understand.
  8. Freedom is a fickled thing. Some people call a car with the window down freedom. My concept of freedom with Harley means you have freedom of the money you used to have.
  9. Yeah, it's hard to explain to people that the savings on gas you get with a bike gets eaten up by other expenses. I tell them it's a matter of preference first and possible savings second.
  10. That's one way to keep the illiterate people outside IP from sitting on your bike.
  11. I think there's lots of them out there. Sounds like it's well used. I'd suggest 1200 to 800 based on how banged up it is. Hope this helps;)
  12. I'll warn anyone about generalizing a breed like that. Yes, he can be a big baby and filled with personality but he also WILL attack and bite. My step father has a nice scar as proof of his willingness to defend his yard. Now my first Dob would let little kids grab him around the neck and try to take pony rides. Every dog is different and generalizing a breed is helpfull but not a safe rule.
  13. It's a KLR! I had to keep the weight down so I could make it out of first gear.
  14. This was my answer to assholes.
  15. Say your sorry or I'll release her big brother on your ass! Ringo, I hope you are earnest in your attempt to simply provide a better home for your husky than you feel you can provide. But keep this in mind as long as we are working in the best interest of your pup. That dog has accepted you as it's alpha. It is no less traumatic for a dog to be removed from it's pack than a child from it's family. She's a beautiful husky and you are lucky to have the ability to own such a dog, seems you should try harder to be worthy of such a gift.
  16. Wow, road rage in action. I don't think I'd have stopped and confronted the driver. Knowing I was faster I'd have just gotten someplace safe like that town they passed through and pulled into a place inaccessible to the truck.
  17. Some video of John Brown Highway north of Murphy, NC and maybe an hour from the dragon. Plus two sections of back roads also in the area. http://youtu.be/B6lUvcuwFyE
  18. After all the attention given to the guy saying the end of the world would be last Saturday, I think that a prediction like this deserves some attention!
  19. That'd be great if you could get rid of the pesky sport bikes.
  20. What you mean, he saw the future from 2006!
  21. Just came back from the NC side of Tellico and if you love the dragon there are some awsome roads around Murphy on the Joe Brown Highway! Specifically Bever Dam Creek rd towards Crawfords camp ground. If you need a place to stay I also recommend seeing dan at Crawford as he is a rider and can not only provide a great place to camp but point out the routes for on road or offroad riding in the area.
  22. Thought it might be worth while to share the places outside Ohio with good offroad riding. I just got back from the Tellico area on the border of TN and NC. There are some really great trails still open in the area but require plated bikes to enjoy them. I took my 950 se and had a ball! Friends had their KLX's with them. and a Honda 230cc. First day was in the snowbird mountain area where we rode across to the Thunder Mtn store then did Huffman rd to the sky way and Fisher rd back to Murphy. Second day me and my friend on the 230cc took off to explore the Hiwasee Dam area and the back roads around it. Good time and wonderfull area to ride.
  23. I see the kick but does it have electric start too? If so I may know someone who'd be interested.
  24. Ahhh, so you understand my confusion. I'm waiting.
