It's agreed, S'Wing'R: MBAM, Crap Cleaner, and Spybot! If it ain't fixed after the 3 of those, it's rebuild time (with Linux, of course... ) ...Oh, and too late now, but next time use AVG Free anti-virus.

Use Linux. Mac=BSD with an ugly purple theme...

I believe MS abandoned OneCare at the end of June 2009... As far as registry cleaners, I've never found one that did anything useful. No harm, just a waste of time. CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) is a good tool for getting rid of the 'crap' on your machine. Backup your important stuff, reinstall. An hour or so worth of work, or you could spend hours chasing whatever's wrong and maybe not fixing it. Just my $0.02 worth.

MBAM is a good starting point to get rid of the bad things. HijackThis is for more experienced users - choose the "do a system scan and save a backup" or something like that option. As far as seeing what's going on, the Windows Event Viewer (Start, Run "eventvwr", [enter]) will, maybe, show you what process is dying. That's assuming it's a Windows thing and not virus/malware/adware/etc. IF you see something in HijackThis that you're unsure whether it should be running or not, Google it. Things that look bad could be some oddball something your network card needs, while innocuous looking entries might be the bad guys. You could send your HijackThis log to me if you want, but I'm heading to the OSU hockey game around 6:30 tonight, so either before then or after 10:30...

Disclaimer: I'm not a MySQL admin. I have MS, LPI, VMWare certs, but the only MySQL instance I have in production is my OpenNMS box... That being said, an "error 1030" is usually disk space. Might not be where the actual db resides, could be /var/logs running out. My guess is you've checked that - just trying to help. #1 tool in Windows Server Admin toolkit, the three finger salute (or the power cables if it's really unhappy).... (Yes, I know this is a Linux box, CentOS if the headers aren't lying). Just thought I'd throw that in there.

Looks like that plate's registered to a 2000 Mazda station wagon (hatchback?), color not specified, registered out of Delaware County. Someone named Jon, not JRMMIII....

that is just begging for a witty remark (), but I can't bring myself to post it...

firecrackers are illegal in oHIo, too. Maybe you can buy it here if you sign something saying you "promise not to drink it in oHIo"...

2 bottles available at Kahn's Fine Wines in Indy, $199.99/per. At that price, umm, no thanks.

2.5GB - nearly all of which is remoting in through a TS session (TS Mobiles FTW) via my BES server, to take care of server stuff without having to VPN in from the lapper. Easy to do at Thursday night dart league... No pr0n on the Crackberry - going through Corporate proxy, plus the screen's too small (justa guess, of course....) Not nearly the consumer of bandwidth as the OP. However, router logs at home show a boatload of traffic both down and up. Insight doesn't seem to care. We're talking over 130GB/month.... Little Bubba 2 server handles it no problemo...

Was that part really necessary, Adolf? Wow. You forgot to include <insert other bigoted stereotype here>.

- Who uses Cogswell Cogs? - Anyone ever drink grog? - Who here has rolled a log (or pinched a nice one...)? - How about that egg nog? - Anybody ever play with Pogs? (Dammit, ThatDude beat me to it, the jerk...) - Who calls their coat a tog? - Why do people in the UK call non-white people "wogs"? - I want a Xog GPS? Anyone have one? - Who believes in the ZOG (Zionist Occupation Government) anti-Semitic conspiracy theory? Discuss amongst all of us.

Coulda been, but I don't remember any campground. It was a while ago (31, 32 years ago?), and my early-onset Alzheimer's doesn't help matters any. <IF> I ever get back down that way I'll turn onto Coonpath and see if anything looks familiar.

Heading south on 33, turn west on Coonpath. Don't recall how far it was - maybe a 1/2 mile or so, and was on the left (south) side of the road. Pretty basic park - nothing like Apple in Columbus (9/79 - 5/81, r.i.p.). It happened, I promise:D. I was standing, I don't know, maybe 2 feet from the fence. I had A LOT of Coca-Cola that wanted out. No problems with "the stream" breaking up. It was one of those "2 or 3 minute pees", broken up 10 seconds into it (when my aim hit it's mark) by a stream (pun intended) of electricity coming back at me and entering a portion of my anatomy that shouldn't have had electricty entering it.

Two males who have "shared the same igloo" (not at the same time, that's something else entirely...). 'nuff said?

C-Bus example: Eastbound Shrock Rd. to Northbound Cleveland Ave. I can sit there in the 6,000 pound truck for 2 or 3 cycles waiting for the left-turn signal. Since it's right near I-270 and on the Columbus-Westerville border, there are 3 jurisdictions I need to look for before saying "fug it" and just going. PITA.

I will attempt to get these questions answered. A guy I coached Jr.'s flag football team with is OSHP, I'm sure he'd give his/the State's views. The Genoa Township Police station is just up the road from me - never much going on around here (thankfully) so I'm guessing that someone there would give the "local LEO" view. As far as finding an atorney that represents motorcyclists, there has to be someone on this board that's an attorney. If they don't handle traffic cases directly, they've gotta know someone. I know a couple of "mouthpieces", I will query them to find someone to answer our questions. Give me a couple of days - should have something toward the end of the coming week.

ARGH! "insert link" cut/paste from Amazon doesn't work quite right. Just go to Amazon, take 10 seconds to look for "free mp3 downloads".... Amazon has free MP3s every day, check back often.

According to their website, all exchanges must be made within 14 days. I would call the store from which you bought, speak to someone in charge, and ask them to reserve the next LG 32 that comes in for you, and have them call you when it comes in. When it's in, take yours in, examine the replacement; if it meets your approval, swap 'em, take the new one home and call it done. As to buffing out the current one, some 600+ grit on a buffing wheel might work. BUT, once you've gone the "fix it myself" route, you won't be able to return it. Maybe try on the back of it first?

not without the remote...! I'm a man of few talents and even fewer actual abilities... Pretty good at the butt noise/barking spiders/jean heaters/arse musica, however.

True story: 30-ish years ago, at age 12 or 13, pop took me to the only skateboard park in central ohio, down on Coonpath Road just north of Lancaster. Mid-summer, no trees, 5 or 6 Cokes later, nature calls. I wander out to the edge of the property, there's a fence. It's humming, but that doesn't set off any alarms in my brain. Summers on the grandparent's farm taught me nothing about electric fences - they didn't have any - Mennonite. Start going, of course gotta try to hit the fence, right? A <strong> tingling/throbbing sensation is felt in my nether regions. Not entirely unpleasant, but not super fun, either. Figured out pretty quickly what was going on and adjusted my aim. Haven't done it since. I might be dumb, but I'm not stupid.
