  1. You forgot the couple sentences before that. In the context you quoted, yes. But that's not all that I said. There is scientific proof that no matter where she'd bought the coffee, the same spill would've caused the same burns. Thus, it wasn't McDonald's fault but her own for spilling it. If I drop a chainsaw on my foot, I'm not suing Craftsman.

Toro or Ryobi would be better bets anyway

  2. X2.

While I'm sure Audion19s could do a massively better job than I with his arsenal, I just couldn't justify it due to the miles I commute and the fact it would get dirty pretty much the next day.

For 17 bucks and my own time, I can do it at least one more time, maybe two if I'm a bit stingier next time.

i know it s hard to justify but I will repeat myself

it's always cheaper to do stuff the more expensive way

don't look at it purely from a cost standpoint...step back and evaluate the bigger picture: time, money, redos, satisfaction, final result, durability etc etc

  3. well put.

I can only think of one person in Columbus that I would let use a rotary on a vehicle and they aren't on this board any more.

I bet you're thinking of Todd Cooperider, Esoteric Detail

never met the fellow but his knowledge sharing he has on detailedimage.net is awesome.......I've become a customer of there and have been buying a host of good products

Mother's and Meguiar's make decent products, Turtle Wax though, is absolute bottom of barrel...if you want the good stuff, you likely won't find it at big chain places...good stuff like Menzerna, Pinnacle, Dodo Juice, Poorboy World's Chemical Guys, 303, Zaino, Wolfgang

  4. there's 2 places I'd trust in Columbus

Performance Research Inc on Westerville Rd and Fowler on Switzer Ave

the former I've used and and loved the work....also he's been there at that location since before I was even born

the latter I have not used but they build some bad-ass motors, including for some people I know

A motorcyclist who was dragged beneath a car Monday in Logan was rescued by bystanders who helped police lift the burning car and pull the man out from under the wreckage. He was reported to be in critical condition Monday night.

Brandon Wright was riding east on U.S. Highway 89 about 11:40 a.m., when a driver steered his BMW 530XI into the motorcycle’s path from a parking lot across the street from the Utah State University campus, said Assistant Logan Police Chief Jeff Curtis. The driver of the BMW did not see Wright, who laid down his bike and slid into the car.

The motorcycle and Wright were pulled under the car, where the motorcycle’s gas line was severed, causing the bike and the car to catch fire while he was trapped underneath, Curtis said.

Several bystanders rushed to the car and lifted it off Wright while officers and other witnesses pulled him out and moved him to safety.

Wright suffered broken bones, cuts and burns, Curtis said. The driver of the BMW was not injured but "was shaken up, obviously," he said.

Firefighters put out the flames shortly after the crash, Curtis said.

i m loving the construction worker coming out opf left field at 00:19 and pulling the rider out as others are lifting the bimmer. I'm glad to see the guy did not die with the help of this selfless act from the people

I can't tell what kind of motorcycle it is

also notice the man in suit doing nothing....he's likely the BMW driver who didn't see the rider..........it sucks being associated with douche BMW drivers :(

edit: come to think of it, aside from being at fault, the BMW driver probably isn't a douche for not helping...he was likely in shock from what he had done

  6. i m not a fan

it's always cheaper to do stuff the more expensive way..in this case, hand it off to a good detailer (Audion19s) with a PC or a rotary depending on the scratches being fixed and some good pads and some good polishes and cutting compounds.....

this method (actual paint restoration) provides a real fix as opposed to just band-aiding the problem (this turtle wax crap)
