  1. I know this threads old, but do you have a sound clip? Ive developed a soft spot for two strokes after the 250 project ive been working on..
  2. I have now put about a total of 50 miles on the new exhaust system, and let me say, I love it. The bike is more responsive through the entire RPM range. Idles smoother, and seems smoother running all together. I was worried about heat issues on the turn signal, and there is none. I also have the Triumph accessories throw over soft luggage, i was slightly worried about, and there appears to be no issues what so ever. After someone asked me the stop light question, I rode in town quite a bit to see what I came up with. Once in a blue moon would I come up with a whiff of exhaust, but nothing really to speak of. This muffler has been wonderful for the short time I have riden with it. Its loud when you want it to be loud, and quiet when you want it to be quiet. Cruising in town, you can be heard but not obnoxiously. Cruising at highway speed you can barley hear it over the wind, and when you get into the throttle it really opens up to a gorgeous howl of a three.
  3. In person, it looks much different than pictures. Its a very deep maroon.. depending what angle your at/lighting. I would describe it as black cherry/maroon/rootbeer, depending where you were looking. It does have alittle metal flake in it.
  4. Seems I have been designated to find a few buddies of mine bikes. One of them has this to offer as a trade for a bike.. http://www.mautofied.com/snap-on-krl-7023-tool-box_Other/listing/100256131/
  5. I never thought that deep into it...
  6. ^ i know someone who may have the forks, minus the top triple tree if you be interested..
  7. ^ id say give that a shot, it was a pretty common thing on the cbr f3 when I had mine. The fuel pump would still work, but it would have a slight pressure drop.
  8. congrats man! That will be a great hooligan bike for ya!
  9. Nate, I just got sidetracked with all your videos. Track riding looks like a blast!
  10. I have a 24 valve everyday, and I love it, complete with my bone stock exhaust . I enjoy diesel performance very much but the rednecks just blowing smoke gives it a bad name
  11. Personally I would. When I got rid of my truck, and got the bike, that was the best choice I'd ever made.
  12. My buddys looking for his first bike, hes looking to spend no more than 1200 bucks. He wants somthing halfway sporty. Anyone got anything?
  13. photobucket and youtube are being terriable. Where can I upload this thing?
  14. it sure is. I ordered it monday, and it was here thursday. I wasnt here to sign so it was delivered friday. I love it. It sounds great. I have three good videos of the sound, but youtube is taking forever and a day to upload. Its been uploading for 40 minutes.
  15. put a towel down and bring it on it! heck with her! HAHA im kidding
  16. LOL your the second person thats mentioned the garage! I can barley get my truck, and my girlfriends car and my bike in that garage! I just happend to have both vehicals pulled out so I can work out there. One of the houses we are looking at has a three car... Thats when the fun begins!
  17. Finished project! I had to make a small bracket to drop the muffler down just about 1/2 inch. I will have sound tomarow
  18. i dropped it down about 1/2 inch and it changed the angle. The exhaust was hitting my turn signal, and significantly warmed it up. I will get you pics and sound clips tomarow. As of now im bleeding my brakes becuase I had to take the caliper off becuase somone stripped out the pad pins. I personally thing it sounds freakin awesome. Its alot more responsive now. I have the TOR offroad tune also.
