  1. gen 1 fz1 engine with 26k on the clock. Ran great. second gear is bad. no carbs, and no starter. 200 bucks. national cycles tall wind screen. Light use. Small scratch in the lower black portion. 65$
  2. I've got bt090s on now, and they have about 2300 miles on them, and the rear is toast. Fronts still decent. I will probably just go with the bridgestones again for now.
  3. I'd run PP in a heart beat if I could get them in 140s. The 150s don't seem to jive well on the WR . I looked hard for the pilot street and haven't found it in stock yet :-/
  4. I'm pretty limited on tire choices for the WR, and the OEM bt090s are smoked. Has anyone ever tried the kenda k671s? I assume they won't be a sticky track tire , but for commuting purposes they appear " OK". anyone have any experience? https://www.denniskirk.com/642403.sku?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cse&gclid=CLH7xJHEsb8CFTBqMgodEEYAfA
  5. I'll sell the whole collection 75 cents a car. Standard cards. 2.00$ treasure hunts.
  6. Everytime I see this, I think " Man you should have bought it"
  7. Heres what I can tell you. I picked up a wr250x a few weeks ago. I've logged a couple hundred miles on it since I picked it up. First off, I love it. I love the weight and nimbleness.I love the fuel injection. I love that it makes power higher in the RPMs. It loves to be revved. I've not ridden a 250R but I'd assume its similar. If you want stump pulling power, you may want to go with something bigger. The power reminds me of a 2 stroke almost in a sense. My WR isn't 100% stock. It has a full FMF system ( power bomb header and power core muffler) FMF programmer, AIS removed, and the air box flapper is removed. It will cruise comfortably on the highway at 70-75 no problem. Just make sure you plan your passes accordingly. I'm also running stock gearing. I feel it could be dropped down a tooth up front. I've had the X off road a tiny bit, and this is where I feel it could be brought down a tooth. It doesn't lug around in 1st and 2nd gear very well. I believe my biggest complaint is the tiny fuel tank. Every time I leave the house, I have to head straight to the gas station.
  8. Heard this , this morning. Rip rider.
  9. I'm not sure, but it cruises on the highway decently.
  10. I don't mind having to spin the little engine up to make power. Thats part of the fun of a hooligan bike! I don't think I'd like it as my primary motorcycle, but, as a second bike to my SV, its fantastic. I have full intentions of getting on the kart track. G&J kartway is only about 45 minutes from my house. I looked at the DRZ very heavily also, but I wanted fuel injection. I also prefer the looks of the WR over the drz quite a bit. Theres been a white DRZSM sitting outside the christian high school I pass everyday, and it just doesn't do anything for me. I tried to buy one of these new in 2008 and I called competition accessories to see if they had one in stock. The salesmen told me they did, and even offered to get the paper work ready. Upon arrival, they did not have one, and when I questioned him about it, he said " Oh i thought you said CRF450" or something along those lines. I then got into the triumph thing and the wr250x got put on the back burner... until now...
  11. it may be able to hang , But i don't think the pilot can! LOL
  12. I dig it so far. I've only logged about 15 miles but I can't get over how light it is
  13. I gotta get some tires before I do anything like that, but I'm sure it won't hang with the 450s
  14. 08 wr250x , 2210 miles. Fmf exhaust and programmer. Some misc 12 o'clock labs goodies
  15. I'd never dealt with a non notary state until yesterday. Made things super easy, but I made a call to the title agency to be sure I didn't need a notary stamp before I left the seller
  16. Well I pick up my fz1 replacement today. I have to get an out of state inspection also, as it's coming out of Michigan
