  1. http://www.remingtonheaters.net/radiant-heaters/hh-70-ss.html Ive looked at these too. I saw them at a trade show a few years back, but in my 2 car garage I'm not sure if fumes will be an.issue.or.not
  2. It isn't bad, but not as good as it could be. I'm going to work on it this summer.
  3. I have a torpedo style heater in my garage , that I can't handle. I have 220 in my garage and have looked at some electric shop heaters. Anyone ever used one? I'm open to other ideas as well, i just don't want fumes.
  4. it seems the 03-05s don't have the issue near as often as the 01-02s
  5. Well I started in on the fz1 tonight. It has a kick in second gear. From what I have researched, thats typically the dogs, which also leads to a bent shift fork. So here we go. First the engine must come out. So far I have removed the tank, some of the air box, and started bagging and tagging all the parts. I didn't have a bunch of time tonight so I will post more pics as I go.
  6. You certainly can't. I have put over 700 rounds through mine, and i purchased it brand new in 2010. Its been a great weapon. Never a jam, misfire, or any other form of malfunction.
  7. That's what I keep telling myself also. It's just gears. LOL. We shall see. I will post a thread witg pics. So far reading the manual removing the engine seems to be the worst part
  8. I've talked with 35, pauly, and a few stealerships, and I've decided to take the job on myself. One particular dealer quoted 1890 labor alone, and I just can't justify that. So I got the yamaha service manual and decided I can do it. Anyone ever done one, or have any advice?
  9. I personally haven't had good luck with the service dept over there. Buying parts they have been great on the 400ex, but since the old tech left, I haven't had much luck.
  10. It seems I am going to need to get some fairly major work done on the fz1. The 2001 and 2002 models have a second gear issue, in some situations. The shift fork bends and the dogs wear out and so forth leading the bike to kick at higher rpms and eventually false nuetral and go out all together. Does anyone have any suggestions on a shop ? Thanks guys.
  11. Well as some of you know, I definitely was not graced by being remotely tall. I have a 28 inch inseam, so even somthing semi average typically doesn't fit!
  12. these things never seem to be quite right for me, but whats the inseam?
  13. yea? I wave all the time, sometimes I even look like a chicken trying to fly I wave so much. Who cares?

  17. I've driven it, but have not ridden it. I'm really looking forward to riding the area. Its amazing.
  18. I have the qwest, and while its a very nice helmet, it fogs up like you would not believe on cooler mornings/ nights. The pinloc visor is a must
  19. Sounds like I'm going, and will be camping with granda080
