  1. I didn't tell him to, said I prefer. I'll also gladly help thru the paperwork should he decide to go that route but didn't feel including all the laws on barrel length was needed in my post since he's not an idot or new to guns
  2. There are 100's of makers and opinions on who makes the best. What you need to know. 1) buy mil spec 2) don't buy a poly lower 3) don't take opinions from your coworker based on his hours of playing COD 4) because it costs more doesn't make it better 5) you don't absolutely have to have a dust cover and forward assist like your 395 pound neighbor that thinks he's a tactical operator says 6) no matter who's name is stamped on the lower and other parts they're all made in the same places. There's only a handful of factories that make lowers and bolt carriers and such. They just stamp names on them. Barrel length is decided by what you want to do with it. 16" is standard and a good do all length. You want long range get longer. I prefer 10". Stock, Grip and Forend are personal preference. Find what you like. I prefer Magpul stock and Forend and an Ergo grip Sights and optics are also personal preference. I use magpul flip sights and a Lucid optic. You just want an entry level play rifle to take to range and keep around the house, any off the shelf AR will work. You want one your way, building one is pretty easy. PSA offers many good combinations and very good prices for a good do all standard rifle. Go to the store and gun shows, handle them all and find the the things you like and dislike and go from there. I can order anything you want or build one for you from the parts you prefer also.
  3. Nope, rain or shine no refunds. Sadly
  4. Heed the warnings in riders meeting on track condition if it rains since you've not rode there before, Mid O is slicker than shit when wet. Few if any will ride. Matt is one of the few coaches that will go out when wet. He'll gladly tow you. I don't go out when wet.
  5. Yes he still rides, just not all the time but he does ride and is still fast. I have 2 but I dont know when I'll be getting there, Im sure someone will have an extra if you need one
  6. Yes same Mark. Twilight has been there for a long time, basically just drops novice and gets you about the same amout of track time for less money. Marks guys will change tires there for you when he has time but better to go prepared in case he's busy or not there.
  7. Why have we strayed from the finer things in life, like fresh fluffy sheep and Hot Carl?
  8. Fat fingers make girls that want peni moist
  9. Bump get these out of my garage
  10. I was surprised too lol. There was one comment about it in points or ban thread
  11. It is completely enjoyable to ride, something I definitely missed
  12. Nope. It sold, that wasn't the BDSM bed anyway
  13. Where do us Grommers fall into the classifications?
  14. I too just bought an FZ because of your recommendations. I really like it. It's definitely a relearning curve hoping off the RR and onto it but I like it
  15. That's the love I was needing to feelz
  16. I actually should be there Monday getting moved in and setting up for Vintage Weekend. The last 2 sessions of the day are the only ones coaches are allowed open play. And that wasn't chest beating, it was being a snarky ass. Kinda my other specialty. If I were to chest beat it would be over my roles in midget porn. You really need to get caught up.
  17. I've no feelings to hurt. Nor anything to prove. As for pace, if riding must speak for itself come to Mid Ohio on a day I'm coaching and I'll gladly tow you around a few laps and see what your riding says. I criticize for free.
