Look at the stock bulb that you want to replace. The bulb type should be on there somewhere, most likely H7 or H4. What different bulb types look like:

yeah, any higher than that and they start to get a blue tint.

IMO they are definitely worth it. I got the 55W dual system with 5000k bulbs. They are very bright!
