  1. Yeah....that was a good read for a Monday morning. Thanks for the humor.
  2. This is a potential time. I need to stop by the park today and make sure they are going to be open next weekend. It's getting pretty close to when they shut down the paintball for the year. I'll be out there in about an hour and a half to make sure they are going to be open next Saturday. I'll edit when I get home. So if your interested please post up and LMK. Here is the link with the information. http://www.franbarpark.com/megapaintball.htm We went last weekend and had a blast. It started out kinda slow because there was only 5 of us, but within an hour we were playing 5 on 5. There were also a few other groups out there playing.
  3. Fran bar has no limit on BPS as far as I know, but As Cdubyah said the max FPS at fran Bar is 280, which they make you test. I think they all make you test them. Full auto is a waste in my opinion. I had a full auto gun at one time and went through way too much air and balls. Most are electronic and require a battery which ends up dieing in the field.
  4. I'm not sure what they are looking to pay, but I know they can get them new for 179. Is it in good shape, cleaned often? My nephew and brother-in-law are both looking for an A-5 so if its in good condition they'll be interested. They found a pair of them on Craigslist in Pataskala for 300. THey were going to look at them, but i trust people on OR a little more than people on CL. get me the pics as soon as you can and we'll see what happens. They want to pick them up before Saturday.
  5. I have the XD so I am bias, but I also owned the sigma. The Sigma is pretty much a full size and not the easiest to conceal. The XD feels much better in my hand and it's a double stack so the gun is a bit bulky. Honestly as I mentioned in one of the other gun threads, the Sigma is an ok gun I never had a single problem with mine. It had a long trigger pull and was a PITA to strip when cleaning, but other than that worked fine. The Xd is much easier to strip, the trigger pull isn't as long, and it has a lot of safety features. I was much more accurate with the XD vs the Sigma. I have no experience with the Walther. I picked up a used M&P 9mm for $300, they can be found if you look. I think they feel about the same as the XD in my hand. The XD SCs are harder to find used and usually the price difference between new and used isn't that significant. Again I have no experience with the Walther. My vote is for the XD, but if price is a major factor, the Sigma will be ok, if you can conceal it. The Walther may be "too small for your bear claw". Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Walther a single stack? The other 2 should be just fine.
  6. Do you have pics and how much do you want for it? I may know of someone interested.
  7. I'll be home before the game starts, if we start at 10a we should be done by around 2p. Which leaves me over an hour to get ready and since I live like 10-15 mins from Fran Bar I should be fine.
  8. Yeah, but their standard is white, which shows up pretty well, I've never tried it in complete darkness, but again I like to know who/what I am shooting.

  9. Splatter park is ok, I was there for the first time last year. I don't like some of their rules. I understand why they are in place but, still not a fan. I really dislike the whole guide thing.
  10. I'd have to agree with Bad, I had a Sigma, and sold it for a carry gun. Yeah the pull is a little long but it went bang every time I asked it to. I put around 500 - 700 rounds through it and never had a single issue with it. However the tear down for cleaning was a pain in the ass. My brother-in-law bought it for pissing around at his house. So for the money, I'd say there are a perfectly fine gun.
  11. Yeah the nights sights are just that, they have a slight glow on them for shooting in the dark. I really don't see the point of them. If your shooting in that dark of a situation can you really see what you are shooting at? Holding a flash light or turning on the lights would probably be a better idea. It's a personal preference though, some like them if they need to shoot an intruder in a low light situation.

  12. Bring your balls out...I'd love to paint them with my A-5.
  13. I am planning on going paintballing this Saturday at Fran Bar Park. I think we will be playing woodsball, I'm not a fan of speedball, but we'll see what everyone wants to do. Please let me know if you are going to come out. Fran Bar opens at 10a and I'm planning on being there right when it opens. They have equipment to rent if you need some and the prices are on the website: http://www.franbarpark.com/megapaintball.htm Seeya there.
  14. Bah, I'm on call that day, not sure if I'll make it out or not.
  15. I agree but its a silly law, whats the difference between walking down a city street carrying and having it on you while on a motorcycle open carrying. Now if he is concealing it in a pocket or under a jacket different story.
  16. Damn wasn't at my PC and missed the argument.... Oh well Lets just go with "that dude" is basing his opinion on personal preference, and a head so thick his .50 round wouldn't come close to penetrating....
  17. Way to prove your point.... what part do you disagree with?
  18. Who puts one round in somebody, whom you felt enough danger from to shoot in the first place. If its one attacker empty the damn gun. If I shot you 6 times in the chest with a .22, I'm pretty sure your going to stop moving forward. Change that to a 9mm, .40, .380 and your definitely not moving any further forward, unless your falling that direction. Contrary to movies, being shot by a gun even at close range isn't going to knock you backwards. I own an XD SC and a M&P Compact 9mm I think the guns are about the same. I think my XD feels better, but wouldn't hesitate to grab either if needed. As stated shoot the guns mentioned and pick the one that feels the best. I have fired a few Glocks and really do not like the feeling of them in my hand. However I was accurate with them.
  19. Was a fun ride no major issues. My bike wouldn't start back up at the gas station in Pickerington, but after a jump it ran fine the rest of the day. We made one wrong turn, but were able to get back on track pretty quickly. 555 was a fun road, not as bad as I thought it was going to be by a long shot. We ended up coming back 33 due to everyone being tired and just ready to get back home. Hoblick and his group jumped off 33 in Logan, and I continued up through Lancaster and cut across 158 back home. All in all it was a fun ride, I'm a little tired and could use a nap.
  20. First WTH is a chuch festival? Second what time are you heading down? I need to take Riley to her grandparents tonight but I'll be free for a little while after that.

  21. I've never been on 555, as I'm sure quite a few of the people that are going haven't been there either. I will bring up the rear and run my own pace. Which I'm sure will be what most of the people will be doing. We'll see how it goes. If we're late, we're late. I just don't want this to be an "eventful" trip.
  22. Well if your leading, I'll be in the back most likely, so yeah whatever you wanna do. It shouldn't effect me, I'll probably have music with me anyway.
