Ok so what's the deal? Are we meeting somewhere or everyone just going their merry way? We can meet at the Sunoco or McDonalds or Speedway on 310, or if there is a different meeting place let me know. I really don't care what time we meet as I have nothing else going on on Saturday. LMK

Dude seriously you need to wear your gear all the time...even when you're sleeping...you never know when your roof might collapse. Also make sure to check tire pressure, tire wear (from all those badass burnouts you do), lights work properly (they are needed for the ghetto birds to find you when they are pointed to the sky), also remember to make sure your flip flops are tightly secured to your feet. Make sure all bolts are properly torqued to spec. One more time just cause this is a big one, MAKE SURE TO ALWAYS WEAR YOUR GEAR!! BTW everyone on cruisers belong to bike gangs and everyone on a sportbike is a stunter and has mad skillz!

Ok, so the guy was given a ticket for 82 in a 65 or something along those lines.... I have been pulled over at 102 in a 65 and the officer didn't have his gun drawn. As far as I can tell from the video the police did not witness the wheelie or the excessive speed. The off duty officer witnessed the bike passing him at roughly 82 MPH. I don't think going 17MPH over the speed limit warrants getting out of your unmarked car with a gun drawn. Hand on said firearm, appropriate. Next question, if the actual marked car was that close to pull up behind the rider within 10 seconds of stopping at the red light, why did the unmarked car bother taking lead on the situation? Providing back up would have been a much better decision. Next, during the video the plain clothes officer didn't say anything about the camera on his helmet. After the case up north where the rider was shot in the back for simply looking over his shoulder, I am damn sure I wouldn't be reaching up to my camera trying to turn it off. Last time I checked it is not illegal to record yourself driving down the road on your bike. My opinion, FWIW, the biker paid his fine for breaking traffic laws, which is what the stop was for. I don't believe the officer needs to be discharged, but he does need some counseling on using his head for more than just a hat rack. Now the raid on the bikers house and taking computers is way way way over the top. As mentioned before the prosecutor, and judge or whomever signed the warrant for seizure of computer/recording equipment, needs to be relieved of their position. To me the recording of the stop was no different then a news crew recording the people walking by at a state fair and broadcasting it on the 6 o'clock news or their website. So does this mean that next time your at a fair and someone records you and puts it on the news you can sue them for not getting your consent?

I'm not sure yet what time I am leaving for it. But we can meet at the Sunoco on 310. We can take back roads down to Canal area without getting on the freeway. I'll have to look at the map again so I know exactly where we are going but I know the back roads through pickerington all the way down to Canal.

I think I am going to make this. Are we meeting up some where to ride in as a group or is everyone rolling in solo?

The center section of the rotor can be polished. I'm not sure about chromed as I am not sure on the chroming process. If you polished it you would want a clear of some sort on it. Not sure I would want to do either as it would be a PITA to keep clean. You'd probably be better off PCing the center section of the rotor. I thought about doing the same to mine. Good luck either way.

I have not heard that, and I can guarantee they are still open. They just answered the phone. Update they were shut down for 3 days for violations. I may be there, I burnt my hand last night and am unable to ride at the moment. But I may stop by with Riley to ride on the trailer. I doubt we will be staying for the after party though. It's my wifes B-day on the 4th and he parents are having a party for her when she gets off work at 3pm. I'll let you know.

Well since it was asked.... I received an email tonight from the company I have been getting the Oakley's from stating they got word I was "reselling" the glasses and they would no longer offer the discounted prices. I have a real good idea who sent the message or made the call that ended the discounts. I just want to make this very clear, I made no profit off the glasses what-so-ever. The price I was quoted was the price that was offered. The only thing I asked was that everyone who placed an order paid $6 for shipping. I was offering it to help out other people from OR that were interested. But obviously someone was pissed because I was possibly taking away potential business from someone else. Anyway, I figure Karma is a mother fucker and they will get theirs in the end. Sorry to those of you that were interested and are now unable to get what they wanted. I'm sure everyone can figure out who the person was that ended it by reading back through the thread.

I rode in today too, and I may take a detour downtown to beat the crap out of some weathermen. I wish I had a job where I could be wrong nearly everyday and not have to worry about it. Luckily it's just been a light mist and noting major, however I know as soon as it hits 5pm it's going to let loose and I'll be soaked and have to deal with traffic....
