  1. I love my Meanstreak only because I've wanted one for several years before I started riding. It's still makes me smile when I look at it.

My first bike was an '85 Honda Nighthawk 650. I paid $1100 for it a few years ago. I learned to ride on it, and was actually a really fun bike (Once I had the fork seals replaced, the carbs cleaned and balanced, and did some electrical cleanup and battery replacement) The bike hauled ass for being an '85. I miss having it at times. But I was way too big for it. Sold it for $1500 at the beginning of this year.

  2. mseb13 (mark) possibly meanie (keith) and myself are going to watch the Monday night game tonight at BWR's if anyone is interested in joining us, I know there are a few Steelers fan's on the board.

I may stay for the entire game, I will at least watch until half time, I have a new Dog at home that I should not leave for too long:)

Damn it Jeff spell my name right....fixed it for ya. I think I'll be there, will probably be about the time the game starts. So save me a seat bitches!!!

  3. Well, I'm not sure if this is going to happen. I've been trying to contact the owner of Fran Bar since Tuesday of this week and I haven't been able to get in touch with him. I stopped by there today and no one answered the phone or the door and no one was playing. I am still going to go down there tomorrow morning. But at this point I'd say no go. If it doesn't work out I am going to do some riding instead. If anyone is interested in riding you welcome to join. I'll try and setup another weekend to go paint balling if this one doesn't work out.

  4. Well the way we normally play is:

Divide up into 2 teams, usually use tape as an arm band.

One team moves out and gets setup, they fire off a shot when they are ready.

The second team moves in and tries to eliminate them.

3 shots and your out, gun shots don't count.

We have played capture the flag, but normally one of the teams gets eliminated before the flag is retrieved.

Splatter Park has a bunch of different games they play.

I'm up for anything. I'll play speed ball or woods ball, or whatever. We can mix it up and get a general idea of what everyone wants to play when we get there. I was kind of worried we weren't going to have enough people to make a decent day of it, but it looks like we will have enough.

maybe we can play a game of zombie and invite Djisle and busa-not-so-haughty and have them be the survivors. Get Mr. A to come and give him at gun shooting around 350fps to shoot Djisle....in the balls.

  5. Well it's been a few days since I checked this thread....seems things have picked up around here.

Pratt I have already talked to Jeff he said he thinks he is going to make it.

Yota, I hate Speedball as well, we have played a few games of speedball at the hoochie and they were ok. We will most likely be in the hoochie or the junkyard. (Yeah I said "we will be in the hoochie, stop )

Like I said before if you have friends that play and they are able to come bring them. I don't want to get there and not have enough people for a decent game. Sunday's weather looks pretty good.

Paintballs are cheaper at General merchandise, I don't remember if you can buy them at Fran Bar or not. They do have air at Fran bar. I think I'm going to be at General Merchandise tonight after work. Again any questions or suggestions call me 614-893-0186.

  6. Anyone interested? I haven't been out in about a year and wouldn't mind getting a few people together to play. Looks like the temp is going to get near 60 on Sunday and no rain. I figure we will start around 10:30a. That way it shouldn't be extremely cold, and they open at 10a. You can rent equipment there if you do not have your own gear. Prices are $25 if you rent your gear there and $10 if you bring your own gear. We usually play for about 4 or 5 hours. Obviously you can leave before if you need to. I have a small group that used to play I am going to try to get a few of them as well. If you've never done it before, it a blast. You WILL get bruises from the paintballs, normally they aren't that bad. Now that the Haunted Hoochie is over we should be able to play in the Haunted Hoochie area, as well as the junk yard and the other fields.

If the weather turns to crap by the weekend, we'll try again on the following Saturday or Sunday.

It's located on East Broad street near Pataskala. Please see their website for directions or call me @ 614-893-0186.

Hope a bunch of us can get together for this.

  7. Yes, you are allowed to leave as long as information was exchanged, and there were no injuries. The cop at the scene also wasn't very concerned. However, she never took my information and probably won't contact her insurance company. I've tried a few times this morning and only gotten the companies answering machine. I left a message and will continue to try and reach them today. I contacted my insurance company last night and my agent called me this morning.

  8. No, I didn't get pictures. Should have. The cars aren't too bad. She hit the brakes hard enough that the nose of her car went under the bumper and lifted up. Hopefully will just need the rear bumper replaced. but never really know what else is damaged until you get a chance to take a look under it.

Yeah we still got our pumpkins.

  9. My wife wanted to go get some small pumpkins so we went to Lynd's Fruit Farm. We stopped at the red light at Morse Rd and SR 310 and while waiting for the light to change I heard brakes screaming and BAM. i got out of the car and a women crawled out of the car behind me. She had 2 kids in the back of her car that were crying. I had my wife and daughter in the car. Everyone seems to be fine. I got her information and called the licking county sheriffs department. Before the officer arrived the lady left. She was talking on her cell phone when she rear-ended us. I tried calling her insurace but being a Sunday obviusly no one was available. I'll call them tomorrow and get the process started. What fun.....
