  2. Two of us are leaving on Saturday morning, to head to Indy for the AMA Prostar Drag Races. We are just heading out for the day. We will be leaving early Saturday morning and coming back Saturday night. We are going to take 70 one way and 40 the other way. We haven't decided which leg is on what route. If anyone is interested send me a message or talk to Mark or I at the OR bike night at BWR on Thursday.

I ride the Orange Mean Streak - Keith

Mark is on the yellow SV650.

Just giving the bike type since we don't know many of you yet.

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks

    Keith

  3. Last month a few of us left and headed up to ride by Alum Creek after the M&G. We took 23 up to Big Walnut, took Big Walnut to Sunbury, down Gorsuch to Red bank Rd, took red bank to Central College, Central college to Hamilton, stopped at the UDF and had a drink. Then headed down to 161, took 161 East to 79 took 79 South to Bukeye Lake, took a break at the yaht club and watched some morons try to load they're boats. then we headed over to Captain Woody's for a late dinner. After dinner we took 79 to us 40 and came back up to Pataskala and each headed home.

It was a fun ride and I think we're going to try it again if anyone is interested in tagging along let me know.

  4. Yeah we were out from 9a to about 6p last night. We got a little wet on SR 62 heading toward the Velvet Ice cream/ ye Ole Mill. Then on 13/79 in Heath we got it again. And finally on U.S. 40 heading into Pataskala we got completely soaked all the way through. I had water in the bottom of my boots. It was sweet. We stuck it out thou and went back to the origin of our poker and had some food and watched the raffles, 50/50, and cruises drawings. My brother-in-law/sister had a full house but still didn't win. Not that it mattered all the money went back to the "A Kid Again" charity. It was fun even with the rain. Hopefully everyone else that rode around Ohio stayed safe yesterday.

  5. Welcome! ScrappyM and I are from Pataskala too. Let us know if you ever want to hit the roads! BTW, are you in Orchard Glen/Peppertree? I saw that butt ugly house with the red roof in the back of one of your bike pictures and immediately started laughing. I always make fun of that house. I really hope it's not yours now that I've made fun of it on a public forum. Oh well.

Yeah, I do live in the Peppertree sub, but that house is not mine. It's out the road a bit. In the pics I'm parked in front of my house but you can't see it.

  6. Just saying hello from Pataskala (outside Columbus for those who don't know).

I have an '02 Vulcan Meanstreak. I bought it the end of last year, and worked on mods over the winter. I'd say she's about 45% complete. There is still alot more I want to do to her. I started out on an '85 Honda Nighthawk 650. That bike was a blast to ride, but a bit small for me, I'm 6'3" about 250. I posted pics of the Meanie in the pics/vids section if you want to check it out. Here's a short list of mods.

    DG Hard Krome strippers

    Thunder MFG Tornado intake

    Power Commander

Kury grips, levers, pegs, res covers, triple tree cover.

    Side mount License plate

Custom Dynamics front and rear turnsignals

Honda VTX shocks (lowered the bike about 1")

    Stock seat recovered

    Avon Storm tires

    Stingers white LEDs

    debadged

I'll be at QS&L tonight probably around 7 or so.
