We have a ton of stuff-- how complete are you looking for? We've got frames and engines and such for a couple of different models.

If I understand right, it could cause weird behaviors in your charging system-- under- or over-charging, fluctuations in the lights, etc. But several other things can cause similar problems-- what symptoms are you having?

Does this mean we don't get to lynch an Englishman? But I bought torches and pitchforks and everything!

Damn, sorry to hear that. What happened?

Nah, they didn't beat him up for being straight. They beat him up because he hit on a 'taken' girl. Guys do it to other guys all the time. This was a little different because they both beat him, but it sounds like stupid drunk people stuff rather than stupid bigot stuff.

Mel Gibson's way more entertaining recently than he ever was in his movies. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FncxPczfCI

Unfortunately, everything I've read suggests that the decision focuses more on the wording of the censorship rules than on the censorship itself. Most likely they'll just put out another set of equally irritating rules, just more clearly worded. It is possible that having clearer rules will cause some of the broadcasters to be a little less uptight about what they can or can't do, since the border will be more clearly marked.

Thieves could go free while victim faces jail time

A friend of mine has this on his GPS in his car. When he moved down here from NY, he asked me to come drive one of his cars back for him, and didn't tell me about the damned thing. So, I get in the car and start driving, and suddenly Darth fucking Vader's telling me to "Turn right, and prepare to enter the motorway!" at max volume (because he always has the stereo cranked-- I hadn't put any music on yet). I damned near wrecked the car. After the initial WTFitude, I thought it was pretty fucking cool.

They're just an MC. As far as I know, they're not all that large, and not considered a 1%er club. Actually, I think one of my cousins may be a member (I recall my dad going to one of their parties with him years ago), but I don't know much about them beyond that.

I think I've had too much coffee today. This popped into my head when I read the first post, so I just had to do it: "The danger to the Republic is not Senator Palpatine but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Chancellorship. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of a Senator Palpatine Chancellorship than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their Chancellor. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Senator Palpatine, who is a mere symptom of what ails the Republic. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Palpatine, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their Chancellor." ~Senator Jar Jar Binks, Chommell Sector

Newark man in critical condition after accidentally shooting self in head

Wow. I seriously hope that guy hasn't bred yet. -
It's true! I could probably even get away with not wearing a belt!

You continue to have some fixation with the idea that I'm trying to be a 'tough guy' or something. What is it with you and my old avatar? It was just a picture I took (when I was 21) to show off my first handgun to some of my friends on Myspace. It was like six years ago, but when I joined OR it was the only picture of myself I had. I'm glad you find the image fascinating, but you're really starting to creep me out a bit. And you always go to the 'gangsta' thing. Dude, get over it-- I grew up in the country (Pataskala, of all places), I've been playing in rock bands since I was like 15, I have no criminal record, and my jeans fit. There is basically nothing 'gangsta' about me... ...oh, wait, I get it.

No, I got it, but I have no sense of humor.

Actually, I hope he was carrying it illegally, so he can get extra time if he survives the wounds. Naturally, though, I also hope he doesn't survive the wounds. If the guy with the legally-carried gun survives and the guy with the illegally-carried gun either dies or spends a very long time in prison, that sounds like a win for the good guys.

I don't get it. He hit the guy in the truck in the face-- therefore it sounds like he was in front of the vehicle. Doesn't a 5000+ pound truck accelerating toward you count as a deadly weapon? Is there some quirk in Colorado law that governs self defense on the property but outside the home? Like a 'duty to retreat' sort of thing? From the information available so far, it doesn't sound like old dude did anything I wouldn't have done in his place. What is the prosecutor's justification for charging him on this? I'm just plain cornfoosed. -
The past tense form of "drag" is "dragged". Anyway, Todd trolls for fun, and we play along for the same reason.

Price? Also, what made getting a title too hard?

When we got it, I think we decided that the front end, shocks, and front wheel were pretty crappy. The forks would need a rebuild, the front wheel was just cruddy and rusty. We basically got the cb750 and two Yamaha Secas from a guy at a garage sale, and it had all been sitting for a while. It's all here, though-- if you wanted the frame, we'd probably just throw most of that stuff in in case you could find a use for some of it.
-
I have a '71 (I'm pretty sure) CB 750 frame in decent shape I'd sell cheap. We also have a rack of carbs (in decent shape) and an engine (seized, but the bottom end is good), plus a fair bit of odds and ends. Just lemme know if you're interested in any of it.

I'm not really opposed to your idea of a time limit. If we could identify the main time frame within which repeat offenses normally occur, and set the limit outside that, I think it would be fair enough. And you're right that not all mental illnesses are created equal. I don't have the time to hunt for details at the moment, but I'm fairly certain there are some pretty specific criteria for what qualifies as 'dangerous'. If there aren't, I'd definitely support a revision on that part.
