When I lived in the UK it was about driving a British car (Talbot Sunbeam, made in Linwood, England after Chrysler's UK arm begged the British Government for a bailout in 1975). Walking (not driving) to an English pub (Mill of the Black Monks) to drink an English beer (Theakston's Old Peculiar) then travelling home and grabbing an English takeout (Fish and Chips), going home and sitting on English furniture (MFI) and watching English shows (Red Dwarf, Doctor Who, Krypton Factor, Tomorrow's World, Catch Phrase, Bullseye and Big Break) on a TV made in Japan. Currently, in the ol' US of A: I drive a Japanese car (Subaru). Don't go to bars but if I drink then it's Irish stout (Guinness). Don't eat takeout. Sit on furniture made in the US (la-z-boy) and watch English shows (Top Gear, Planet Earth) on a TV made in Japan.
