This will be my 3rd Dell laptop since 2003. I don't hate them but I certainly don't love them. If I had to use my own personal money though no way i'd go Dell still. But so long as I have a working computer I don't have to pay for I'm not gonna complain too much lol

When we ordered them new in jan '09 we had the option of Vista or XP loaded straight from Dell. My mom has a laptop with Vista and I wanted absolutely nothing to do with Vista so opted for XP If I had a choice I would not have gotten another dell but we get discounts and don't have to pay for 90 days which at the current time is a much needed perk
