  1. Pike? Details, link, location? I'm not familiar with it...
  2. Not me, baby, I judge a lot of folks and wish death on about half of them. Only had a few come true so far though.
  3. Also, your left hand works the clutch and your right controls the front brake.
  4. Choosing to ride with a fuckstick loser (who I'm gonna predict was drunk, no ops, probably with warrants) has a fairly predictable outcome - jail, crashing, and / or the hospital. If you, as a potential passenger, are to stupid to figure that out in advance of the police chase, you get what ya got coming.
  5. Try hitting the gap at 6:30 am on a weekday. Perfect riding. You have it to yourself. Theres a million other roads down there that are great, the main ones - 129, 441, 28, attract a lot of people, but the secondary roads are just as good, maybe better, with less traffic. And Cherohala is still one of the best roads I've ever ridden. It has always been lightly trafficked when I've been there. Best time to ride that is dawn on a weekday, camp out at Indian Boundary and you can be on the skyway before it's light out. Awesome!
  6. His previous cases from F.C. Muni Court's website. Numerous domestics, assaults, menacings, disorderly conducts, thefts, and so on. Glad you're dead, shithead. You saved someone a lot of pain by croaking yo' stunta self. Sorry your family didn't raise you right, so fuck them, too. 7. I'd say the reason cops / FF / EMS are exempt is because they have to operate the MDT (computer) which is the equivalent of "texting", I guess. FF/ EMS shoud have a partner to do that allowing the driver to just drive, but most cops work alone and won't have that luxury.
  8. Good thread. Several years ago I had a flat on my Suzuki Bandit down near Cadiz, and no flat kit. A Harley guy at the McDonald's escorted me a slooow and looong mile back to his garage and plugged it for me. Wouldn't take a dime. I got his address off his mailbox as I was leaving and mailed him a gift card to BP (everyone needs gas, right?). I've had at least 5 strangers meet me on trips I've been on over the years and offer me a spare bedroom, shower, or piece of yard as a campsite. One guy, a RCMP cop in Nova Scotia, let a buddy and I stay in a vacant cabin he owned for 2 days while we explored Cape Breton. All those people have been fellow bikers and had been helped by someone else and wanted to return the favor my helping me. Couple of years ago a buddy crashed on 555 and broke a few metal bits, a neighbor came out and cobbled a temporary fix for his clutch lever and footpeg, and wouldn't take a dime. I now try and make my spare bedrom and garage bay available for any travelers I encounter to return the favor, and stop anytime I see a bike on the side of the road. 9 / 10 times they don't need anything, but I'm happy to help out anyone if they do.
  9. Why doncha go and get it, pubes3187? It appears that there will only be one tag game going on here, unless maybe you want to start a Madison County only version.
  10. God, has it been over 7 years already? I remember when he got shot. One of the first (sadly since it has been one of many) cop funerals I attended.
  11. Locally, if any of the equipment doesn't work, unless it can be fixed on the spot, you go home and wait seven days to retest.
  12. 17,000 since Jan 1 between the Strom and WR. This is not counting my 2009 KLX250 which I sold with 10k on it 4 months ago. V-Strom has 29k on it now and the WR250 (bought 4 months ago replacing the KLX250) has 4k.
  13. I have considered your points, and the supremely eloquent manner in which you presented them. Subsequently, I have determined that you are incredibly stupid, and thus any further comments from you will be relegated to the "from a fucking moron" file. Cheers!
  14. What are you talking about? Stall / kill it? Yeah, for a minute I thought about not posting up a new tag to fuck with you, but I did post it. It's on a nice stretch of road accessible to anyone. Hell, I rode a 250cc dirt bike there! I thought this site was Ohio Riders, not Ohio Vaginas. Shit, buildit, why don't you just relocate it appropriately so that it is in Franklin County? I don't mind, as I said above I'm not going to keep playing over here since the ADV game is moving along nicely; and it's your game over here, so go ahead.
  15. You got me, you got me. I'm the mutha-fucking ADV tag master, and I hate to tell you this, but my great plan was to get this tag in Nelsonville and then never post a new tag. Kind of a dick move, so I guess I'll go ahead and post the tag, but I'm going to respectfully bow out after this - one tag game is all I can handle. The clues: -3 digit state route which also runs through Zanesville -Just outside of a town that has only a few houses, but it does have a name and green corporation limit signs marking it's existence. The town also shows up on Google maps and has a unique zip code -An abandoned railroad track crisscrosses this road near the tag several times -The town name is one vowel away from and the singular of the vernacular phrase which describes the sensation of a man being stimulated nearly to the point of ejaculation, and then being shut down. If that's too ambiguous, the phrase starts with the name of a color...
  16. First time player, I'm not real sure how this game works. I think this is a tag? What do I do now, do I post my address and get a trophy or something?
  17. Seems like no one is really into the game there, either. At least now. That picture is fucking stupid anyway; but it's stupidity is exaggerated by the fact that both you and I are new here and no one knows us or your sense of humor or your shitty photoshop skills (well, those they do know now), or the story behind that picture. And my thumb is not that big, I mean seriously, I'm not a freak. Or anything.
  18. Looks like a whole bunch of us joined following that ADV link, huh?
  19. Yeah, I see the trailer by your garage all the time. What's a guy gotta do to get a Lizard racing sticker? The "noisy" WR is a buddy living on Bank Street, mine is nice and quiet, you'd never know I went by!
  20. Hey thanks. My first new bike was a 2001 blue Bandit 600, loved that thing. Rode it all over, put 25,000 on it in a year, then sold it to a buddy.
  21. Greetings, got turned on to the site by a link posted on Adventure Rider. Looks like an alright group of people over here. I mean, any site that has a bukkake smilie available has to be alright. Casper encourages us frickin' noobs to post an intro so here it is... I'm 31. I live in Mount Gilead, which is a small town about 40 miles north of Columbus a bit west of the I-71 corridor. I've been riding for 11 years, and I do a mix of street and dirt on a 2007 V-Strom 650 and a 2008 WR250R. I'm starting to get more and more interested in off road riding after being strictly a street rider until 3 years ago. Granted, I don't have a hardcore off road bike, but I'm trying to test my limits and get better out there. It's a gradual process. Other time wasters are camping (off of the bikes), hiking, photography, shooting, reading, writing short stories, movies... I'm a police officer (full time) and EMT-I (part time). I'm always up for street or dirt, and always looking for new friends and new places to ride. See you guys and girls out there! -Mark Me and the WR, stuck in Michigan On the left
  22. I dropped my SASE in da mail today. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Geez, postage up to $0.44; I had to look on USPS's website before I sent the envelope so I didn't short the recipient!)
