It looks like Nelson cancelled their Fun Day track event that was supposed to be this Saturday. I wonder if this is due to the track conditions or something else going on. http://www.nelsonledges.com/NNwhatsNewDetail.aspx?newsId=138

I don't think that they had paid the gate fee. If you look at the kids other videos, it looks like the kids dad helps at the track to some degree. There are videos of who he says is his dad pulling someone out with the track backhoe.

I was searching Google for Nelson Ledges related posts from the past week and found this gem on Youtube. There are quite a few others under this kids account that are pretty cringe worthy. You guys were sure going handy bar to handy bar out there though (about 1 min in)

I have been quoted $8100 out the door and I am heavily considering jumping on it. I watched the full review that is below that a guy did. I thought I would never spend am hour watching it but got pulled into it. He does a pretty good follow up part two.

I am up at the end of the month and I am ready to get rid of my RAZR MAXX. I may be going with the HTC M8 (the new ONE) that is out at the end of the month. It will be that or the S5.

The sale has not been completed yet. There are a lot of hurdles that have to be cleared before that sale would be finalized. I have a feeling/hope that it will get denied by the DOJ or the FCC.

Beta is over now. The game comes out March 11th and I preordered after playing the beta.

I think the new FZ-09 is about the best bang for the buck out there right now. For under $8k msrp, this would probably be my choice if I bought brand new right now.

I played a couple of rounds last night. It isn't too bad of a game but I don't play a lot of FPS games. I was getting my ass kicked a bit but not as bad as in COD.

The ones that I seen in that range are also charing $150-200 to ship them. From what I have seen, $3500 can defiinitely get you something decent if you don't care about only have a bill of sale. I can also push the budget a bit to 4k if I found something that I thought was worth it. I will end up parting out the CBR if I do get something new and that will more than cover the gap price wise. This was a big issue for me that I found. If you break something at the track, good luck finding anyone with anything that might fit. There are definitely parts out there for them but everything seems more expensive than R6 or GSXR parts.

Used engines are about $700-1000 on Ebay. I would probably want to replace rings and freshen up any engine I bought.

I am pretty sure it is a bottom end knock. I didn't see anything when pulled the valve cover but it is hard to see anything without stripping the head down. I haven't been overly motivated to tear it down. I do know that the rings need replaced also. Before it happened, I was starting to get some major blow by and was down a bit on compression. Here is a video of what it sounded like before I started tearing the bike down.

Most of you guys know that I blew up the CBR and never made it out to the track last year. I am really wanting to get back out this year and am weigh my options. I have been thinking about buying a built up track bike and staying with a 600 or going with an SV. The CBR needs a new motor or I need to rebuild what is there now I am thinking that I bent a rod which may mean that the block could be junk anyways. If I buy something new, I would like to try to stick to about $3,500 or less. I don't know if it is worth dumping the money into the CBR since I never upgraded the suspension and that is even more money that needs to go into it. It seems like it is much harder to find parts for the Honda and I don't think it has much chance at being competitive without a lot money being dumped into it. What do you guys think is a better move? Also, if you have any leads on any track bikes, let me know. I have been checking WERA classifieds and watching the Motoseries site.

I seen that on Reddit earlier today, seems like a badass car. There is some amazing use of technology on this car, but there should be for the $1.15 mil price tag.

You should be figuring maintenance and depreciation into the number. Those miles that you are driving have more expense to them than the gas that you use. At $3.50/gal, it costs me about 15 cents/mile in gas, 26 cents for my car payment/insurance/extended warranty, 2 cents a mile for tires, and roughly 4 cents for maintenance. I figure it costs me roughly 47 cents/mile for my car and I am not concerned with depreciation since my entire car bill is covered by my mileage checks.

I drive about 700-900 miles a week for work but fortunately they pay us the max for mileage. I need it with the depreciation hit that I am sure I have taken already. Car is 10 1/2 months old and is already at 38k+ miles.
