  2. Oh, good catch, i'll edit that........i thought i proof read that before i posted......dang....
  3. Just thinking out loud here...I am kinda new to OR and dont really know a lot of people here, outside of the 2 rides I went on. In case something happens during a ride, is there anyone here that is an EMT or first responder or even a boy/girl scout? If a person had the skills to respond to an issue, I am sure they would step up if needed, but might be good to know prior to departing on a ride? I took a CRP class about 20 years ago in high school, I THINK I could do CPR if I had to... Any thoughts?
  4. I have my pics downloaded off the camera onto the computer....uploading them to Google album now....
  5. We were polite, he directly asked asked if we knew anything about bikes on River Road. It was mentioned that we were on that road about an hour ago. The officer indicated that he could not do anything about the complaint, just that he was looking into it......
  6. Do we need to start a "Kosmo needs a tire" fund? Get that thing replaced!!
  7. Likwid missed the highlight of the ride. When we where still in the parking lot, after you left the group in Chagrin Falls, a LEO asked us if we knew anything about motorcycles "racing" on River Road.......um......I know nothing of which you speak.............sure are alot of bikes out today........?? Glad you made it home Tim...
  8. After going on my second ride with the group from OR, I think I am making new friends.
  9. I am leaving now to meet at Ohio Motorcycle.....see you there
  10. For us, the meeting spot at Nelson is 422 east to route 282 ( Nelson's Road). There is a parking lot about a mile down the road, just after a crosswalk painted on the road. It is not raining in Bedford, not standing water, just the pavement is wet as of 6:35 AM....zero wind
  11. I already own a 2002 Durango 4x4.
  12. I'll be there even in wet-drizzle-sprinkle, unless it is a downpour. 8 AM Ohio Motorcycle
  13. So you will have a chance to scout out some of the roads the morning of the ride. I bet you will be on the road around 7 AM?
  14. Good on you Kosmo,That field of study is way over my head, but glad somebody is doing that type of work.. So do we start a new thread called "what do you do between weekends?"
  15. Welcome. Depends your insurance company, but you may get a discount for taking the MSF.
  16. For the trip to Ohio Motorcycle, I bet i could leave the house at 7:57 and still get there by 8, assuming both traffic lights are red. From Ohio Motorcycle, it is about 35 miles to Nelson Ledges
  17. I'll be at Ohio Motorcycle around 8- 8:15...With that long, 2 traffic light ride I have to get there
  18. Any jobs at the college that pay, like working in the book store or cafe ( suck job) but at least you would be close or could work before/after a class?

I tried to sell a fiberglass truck cap on CL, and I got the typical "I will send you $500 more then your asking price to cover shipping to England, my buying agent will make the arrangements". So, appearently, they dont make Chevy truckcaps in England?
  22. Flipping through the channels, Barrett-Jackson auction from Las Vegas is live until 11PM. I only seen 2 vehicles so far, a 60's Fairlane hardtop retractable sell for $29K, and a 1954 chevy P/U 3100 sell for $58K.....Usually Sat night has the crazy high priced vehicles.
