  1. I didn't see the meet up time pushed back to 12:30. It was about 10:30 when we left North Market.

We woke up a bit little this morning in Columbus. We went to the Brad Paisley / Band Perry concert at Nationwide arena last night. We stayed at the Red Roof Inn and walked to the concert. On the walk to the arena, it was still warm out, so I did not have a jacket, just a short sleeve shirt. After the concert, it was super cold and raining. It felt like frozen rain, but not quite snow.

Since I thought we would not be able to make it to the meeting spot by 11AM, the wife and I stopped by 8MM Dale's shop.

  2. you come over to my house, hang out, have a good time... take your gun out of your holster or your holster off your belt (whatever the case may be) then you have a good time pass out drunk or whatever, go home without your gun. Next morning my niece comes over picks it up, and bam... instant tragedy.

I was going to fix this above quote and replace "gun" with "elbow" but did not want to be a D-bag. I like Magz, but don't always agree.

I am not sure having a law that tells people you must lock up your firearms around kids will do anything. The people with common sense either have them locked up already or have taught the kids that are old enough to understand ( that age is determined by the parent, based on the childs maturity) to respect and proper handling of a firearm.

I do not have children in my house. If friends / family with children are stopping over for a holiday gathering, anything that may or not be "laying around" would be secure prior to arrival.

  3. Thanks guys.

I will pick up the clips ( I originally typed magazines, instead of clips, where have I been posting lately) just to have them on hand.

Advance auto has one instock ( Airtek brand, just like in the video) for $249, then if you order on-line and pick up in store, save 15%.

  4. Friend's car. 2001 Monte carlo. 165K. Car was running fine. Quarter tank of gas. Went to the store. Would not start. I opened fuel door, and the gas cap. Do not hear the fuel pump when the key is turned.

I checked the fuel pump fuse under the hood with a test light, fuse good. I swapped the fuelpump relay with the day time running light relay ( same part number, same fuse box under the hood).

I took the rear seat out but did not see any access cover plate.

Car was towed home to the nieghbor's house.

I did a quick youtube search and the video showed a 2001 monte carlo with the fuel pump access plate inside the trunk.

This looks very easy to replace without dropping the tank. My only concern is the white/clear plastic clips securing the fuel lines. Will those come out easy? I know to be careful with the fuel dripping inside the car once the pump is out.

So, I am crazy for trying to do this at home?

  5. Ok, then i am off to Stonewall. I liked the idea of outside with the rifles, but Stonewall is close by. Plus I would like to go to the outside place with somebody so there is a friend watching your stuff when you are downrange setting up targets. The public places can be sketchy at times.

  6. <<Caloric Electric Stove, I'm guessing original with the house (1994). Just replaced top elements 1.5 years ago, oven part's a little dirty but I'll throw in a can of EasyOff to help you in that regard.>>

Potential powder coating machine for smaller parts, or for gun refinishing....

    even Shrinky-Dinks.
