  1. Dang it, I will be in Columbus with the cage cuz I will be at the brad paisely concert Friday Oct 5th. I'll be with the wife and doubt she will want to be on the bike for 2 straight days

Plus my bike only gets about 100 miles per tank full, which means multiple gas stops for me.

I may stop by in the car to meet everyone though.

  2. I am not sure on the GP guys, but last year 2011 for superbike mid ohio, Josh hayes was at the same hotel we stayed at. We were in the lobby having breakfast and josh hayes sits down next to us. Later at the track during the meet and greet, Josh asked us if we enjoyed the breakfast.

At breakfast, I did not ask for an autograph or a picture, I just talked to him for a few minutes and wished him good luck for the weekend.

  3. Dang, disappointed on thread title, i was thinking I would see a Taco-meter. :)

My 1982 GS 850 was leaking oil there. At first I tried to replace just the o-ring, at the end of the cable, but the leak was cable "crimp end" just before the piece that turns and attaches to the threads.

  4. I think I need to start giving a "talk-me-up" discount.. :dunno:

    .

So after 10 "talk-me-up" 's = discount oil change or something?

The OP's experience is his experience.

A quick story about the web based sales guys not knowing what the "on the floor" sales guys are doing.

A while back (2003), I found a car on-line from the manufacture website where you can select a car and the options. The last selection on the website had a link to find the car you just optioned out near by.

The website points me to local dealer. I visit local dealer. I see the vehicle in the parking lot ( had the same inventory / stock number from the website.)

I talk to on the floor sales guy and ask to see the car with these options. Response from sales guy " none of those here".

I showed the guy the print out. Looks up on the dealership computer. Response "oh we sold the car"

I ask the sales guy to follow me and point to car.

Sales guy goes back in and types on the comuter again and says " no wonder that car has been on the lot for over 200 days, it was entered into the inventory system incorrectly.

It has that stock number entered with the incorrect options.

    Enough rambling from me.

I did not buy that car because we could not reach a deal on the price.

  5. you cannot store in it a way that it is accessible for self-defense (ammo and gun must be in separate safes, and you must agree to random searches of your gun safes by the police to ensure your are in compliance)

Wow, but I suppose rules are rules. That random search thing seems strange, but it seems enforcement is enforcement.

  6. Chargin River Road through Hunting Valley is about a "nicest" of any road here in north east ohio. A few gradual sweeping turns, but a lot of slight hills and blind corners. You can't really hammer on it on this road due to traffic and police.

You will pass a real polo field and some mini-mansions.

    End up at Squires Castle.

On the return ride back on River Road, turn left on any of those streets. Follow signs to route 87 to downtown Chagrin Falls. Neat little town with a water fall right in the middle of town.

The good roads start south of Canton.
