The metro parks are known for the pterodactyl's that flock around there. It is even better when something splatters on your visor, and you use your glove to "clear" it, thus making the mess even messy-er.

Good point, but when I went with Speedy, I was not really sure what pistol he handed me to shoot. I know one pistol was the Buckmark Camper.

Art, if you are still near Daytona, gotta check out Ken's Winghouse for a place to eat. Ken's is right near the speedway.

I also liked the XD40 M. Not sure what the M indicates, but it was nice also.

Does anyone have or had a sig P250? I got to hold one in the 9MM frame at the gun place today. I liked how it fit in my hand and the 16 round mag is a plus. This sig can be converted into a 40 or 45 caliber.

The big advantage is that I shoot right handed and the wife will shoot left handed. This model has the safetyand mag release on both side sides of the frame so no problem there.

Just looking for anybody's pro's/con's on this one.

This will be my first pistol.

The retail on sig's page is $640. Gun place has this one used, with 25 rounds through it for $500.

Look at the "you threw me into public" line next to the pic. There is a line from a comedian Ron White, about getting a ticket for being drunk. It goes something like " I was drunk in a bar, but when asked to leave, they threw me into public"

In Birmingham, AL, there is a chain of grocery stores called Publix. I seen the sign of Publix and thought it would be a nice tie-in to the comedian by having picture taken next to the sign.

I am a Chevy guy, but on a recent work trip, I had a 2010 Subabru Legacy as a rental. I really liked the Legacy. This one was loaded with options (leather interior, sunroof, auto climate control ) i would not select if i was purchasing . It only had the 2.5 liter motor, but I traveled from Crawfordsville, In to Cleveland Ohio on about 3/4 of a tank of gas, with the AC running the whole time. And it is an all wheel drive.
