  1. Thanks for the link to rimfire central, already been there.

The trigger "fixes" they list mention using a return spring from a floppy disk inside the trigger assembly.

Pic of the 795 from Marlin's website.

  2. Dang it, the Dicks Sporting Good ad had the Marlin 795 rifle ( 22LR semi-auto ) on sale for $99 after rebate. So I bought that rifle and put a $70 scope on it. The scope weights more then the rifle.

After about 100 CCi Mini-mags, the trigger is still very "heavy", lots of pull required. There were a few times I thought the safety was still on will squeezing the trigger.

Is this normal trigger "feel" for a Marlin?

  3. I am not a big gambler. I think i spent maybe $30 total in a few casino's.

When i went to vegas, we stayed at the Imperial Place. Room rate was $39 a night. Nothing special hotel, just a place sleep, shower and had a fridige in the room to keep gas stationed purchased beer cold. Imperial Place is about in the middle of the strip. We did alot of walking. We took a shuttle from the airport to the casino.

We rented a car for one day to see Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Damn.

For drinks, Casino Royale had $1 beer and $1 marigritas.

Imperial Palace has a nice car collection and affordable admission.

The casino features celebrity look a like dealers in one section.

  4. I remember from high school a poster that was in the "current world topics" class. It said "suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem".

Life does get rough sometimes, sometimes by our own making, sometimes by situations not from our doing. I am almost 40. I have learned it is sometimes better to be a good listener then a talker.

  5. That's a whole lot of wrong and a whole lot of funny.

I'm about to put a bunch of lawn care stuff up for sale dirt cheap. Moving, downsizing, blah, blah blah. Jagr has dibs on some of it, but whatever is left is the probably the cheapest you'll find tools for DIY.

    Any Scag equipment?

  6. I wouldn't know first hand or anything like that, but my former Katana was rumored to have gone 156 ( by using the not always accurate speedometer, not GPS) in fifth gear hitting the rev limiter on 271 south near the ski area. Sounds like a lot of wind and by the time you have a chance to focus on something on the road, you have already passed it. I don't think my eyes and my brain function on the same speed going that fast. So that was the one and only "speed blast" I have ever done.
