Harley just has not been a bike on my "must have" list.
My friend has a Sportster. Everybody in his family that rides has or had a Harley, so it might be what you know, or been brought up with.

"they" say that 95% of the all the Harleys are still on the road, the other 5% made it home........

I was in the same situation at the begining of the year. I looked at a few 22 rifles that retail for under $200. I wanted something good out of the box. Check out www.rimfirecentral.com for a ton of info on rimfire rifles.
I purchased a Savage MKII bolt action with scope for $159 at Dicks Sporting Goods. A few weeks later, a Marlin 795 semi-auto with no scope for $129, also at Dicks. It got old quick with the bolt action, manually ejecting the spent round each time. But I still like the bolt action.
I looked at the Remington 597, but that retails for closer to $200.
In my opinion, the Savage is more accurate then the Marlin.

Remington is having a "Share your Remington Moment" photo / story contest. My entry is a picture of me and my father at the range on Father's Day. I included a short discription with the photo.
Contest is for a Remington 887 Nitro Mag shotgun. Grandprize is 14 Remington products.
If you would, please vote for me. That's me in the blue shirt.

Sorry to hear that NinjaNick, but maybe, eventually your situation will get back to normal, if that is what you want.

I know it is one day before the actual day, but I spent time with my Dad at the outdoor shooting range. I took Dad to the range about 6 weeks ago where he got to shoot my 2 rifles. It was his first time shooting. He really liked shooting, so he went out and purchased a Remington 597 semi-auto 22 rifle.
I plan to take dad out to dinner later this evening.
I am not sure if this is the best fathers day or if the fathers day that me and dad went on a motorcycle ride together for the whole day. This was when I had 2 motorcycles, now I only have one bike.
How did the you guys ( and gals) spend your Father's Day?

Remember the good times. Glad you had a safe time on your night out and are ok enough to post this morning.

Arkron airport is very easy to get in and out of. You will probably be able to see your car from the boarding gate.

The group I meet up with have a few camp sites set up near Honda bridge. What part of the camp ground will you set up?

I am cleaning both cars and then trimming some tree branches away from the house and garage. No chainsaw needed yet.
